X-Pac was over pretty big in '98 and '99 from what I remember. I honestly think that 'X-Pac heat' was from the fans never forgiving him for turning on Kane.
I recall the term X-Pac heat getting thrown around a lot when he had the X-Factor group in the Invasion era. He was supposed to be a face because he was on team WWF, but everyone booed him because they hated him.

It absolutely could have been used earlier than that, that's just when I remember it becoming a popular term online.

X-Pac really wasn't bad by any stretch. If anything, I'd say he was a solid worker and a great seller. The problem came in how he never was involved with anything meaningful yet constantly got wins despite that. No matter how good someone is in the ring, the audience's patience can onto last for so long before it they stop expecting anything meaningful from them. Same thing happened to Ziggler. He peaked when he cashed in Money in the Bank, and from there he meandered in bad storyline after bad storyline, not even coming close to world title gold, and eventually it put him in a death spiral where no one was able to buy into him as a contender for any push or title.

X-Pac Heat came about because DX was finished, and he was the only person who couldn't move on and kept the presentation, while almost never losing for some reason. Tired, stale gimmick that nobody cares about + beating everybody = go away heat
It's really that simple.

The exact same thing happened with Roman Reigns, now that I think about it. If you want him to evolve from The Shield, maybe you should have him coming out wearing the gear and sporting a bootleg version of their theme.

Brit BreadTubers are going to be pissed the Saudis got a WM before England did.

For real. Putting a Wrestlemania in an empty city in the desert and forcing all the women to cover up over letting Wembley have one is a slap in the face to all UK fans. Shit, it would be better to stick one in Mexico than Saudi Arabia. Or Canada. Or even Berlin. Nobody over there actually cares about wrestling behind it just being an empty status thing. You're not going to grow your brandneven further by having it there whereas you absolutely will in England, Mexico, Canada, and Germany where there are real fans.

bWhat is with attractive women joining the WWE only to be transformed into tranny looking creatures? Charlotte Flair is fucking unrecognizable, same with Stratton.

Charlotte Flair always had a little bit of a horse face because she looked so much like dear old dad, bit she had an incredibly cute smile and the surgery just wrecked that.

You could put this pic next to her current picture and people would think they're different people. The gear also wrecked Ripley's face and made her jaw even heavier and more angular. Not only did she ape Chris Motionless' style, she looks exactly like him now.

Oh man they pulled Taker out for this.
That’s not as interesting or unique as it once was. He works backstage these days, he’s on shitty A&E shows, he’s an agent when they do AAA shows he helps train at the PC he’s often at NXT etc. They basically just said uh Mark and Shawn are already here so that’s who you’re getting.

Saudi Arabia gets a WrestleMania, British Youtubers most effected.

I’m not giving them a view, WrestleTalk put up a video about how “WWE Sells Out Even More”, I’m assuming it’s them griping about “how a regressive country gets a WrestleMania before the UK”, I don’t know I think I have them set to Ignore on my actual account…

Roman seems like a decent guy but he has to be the most singularly glaring example of a pro-wrestler who never bothered to learn anything beyond what he was shown in the first few weeks of developmental.

The most basic moveset imaginable and he's been working the exact same match (that is more often than not the main event for some reason) for more than a decade. He looks completely lost when he can't just hit his spots and hit the showers. See also: Brock Lesnar.

Cena has been showing these other "top guys" up over the past few months. It's ludicrous fantasy booking on my part but wouldn't it be great if his last match was Tanahashi at the Dome in January? The perfect ending to the late 90s-00s era nostalgia stuff.

The UK has regressed more than any country that's ever existed.

Every time i see a picture of Charlotte she looks completely different because of the work she has had done. Dana Brook also has the same thing going on. Genuinely, i don't know how either of them string together more than 2 or 3 TV appearances in a row because the majority of their lives have to be spent with bandages/gauze on their faces. I feel bad for Charlotte because it's obviously some sort of mental illness.

It's sad that the most respectable modern era WWE woman is Alexa Bliss because she admitted to getting a set of bolt-ons when she was 17 because she was anorexic and they look ridiculous because she's tiny, then she had a kid and after that she's just been leaning into being in her mid 30s, crows feet and all.

That's been the case for as long as I've been watching wrasslin'. Lita had a serious case of trannyface even though I always thought she was hot. Obviously, Chyna did too, but her Playboy spreads were sexy as hell.

I always thought Sherri Martel was underrated. She had just the right definition. I remember her first night in WCW being interviewed by Mean Gene on Saturday Night. Mean Gene was having the time of his life with her lol.
