AJ Lee was okay at best back in the Divas era. I'm really not looking forward to a rusty Lee wrestle a washed up Becky Lynch, that's a recipe for disaster. It reminds me of Lita's failed comeback run a few years ago where she stunk up every match she had. I hope I'm wrong, but I just don't see AJ Lee as someone who was honing her craft in secret the past decade.

Daffeney always sucked and I'm tired of people pretending like she never did. Daffney is like Owen Hart, if you take a step back and look at their career as a whole you will be surprised on how really mid it actually was, but due to the way they died, people will gaslight themselves into thinking their career was better than it actually was.

People pretend Bray Wyatt was great now when discourse around him was mixed at best a lot of talk of how his promos never actually say anything a certain crowd definitely thought he was "killing wrestling" he won so many worst of the year awards. To a lesser degree people were shitting on Brodie Lee hard for parodying Vince when he did skits like eating steak weird in a suit and now people pretend both were beloved wrestlers of impeccable quality. This shit always happens in wrestling and in life.

Daffney is a special case even cause at least Bray, Brodie, Owen etc were active and talked about. Daffney had fallen out of the conversation so hard I am not sure she'd been mentioned outside of the fact she shows her tits more than 100 times in the ensuing decade after talk about her TNA injury died. People didn't give a FUCK about her, she wasn't in any of the docs, no women said shit all about liking her, her being inspiration because she wasn't and anyone who tells you now that she inspired them, bullshit. Maybe she helped some girls in Shimmer or something or was a nice person and those people can talk good about her, but clearly she was alone whoring herself out and just not thought of but suddenly she was some trailblazer.

Daffney peaked as a Scott Steiner valet. Her angle with David FLair was peak Russo shit. TNA should have been legally fucked for what they did to her.
Also is fucking wild what woman like Baby Doll and Sunshine were doing in the 70s-80s. The angle between Lady Mystic, Tom Pritchard and Dirty White Boy back at Continental is fucking insane

I remember Wyatt being real popular with the IWC but no one gave a fuck abut Brodie Lee when he was alive. Daffney was basically forgotten but she was pretty good as a character. She absolutely got fucked by TNA though and it's still a sad story

The awards aren’t gospel but it is an indication of the attitude you’d see surrounding these wrestlers on certain websites because the dorks who vote in this are the loudest of fans.

I personally was a huge fan and thought firefly stuff was unique and fun for wrestling and enjoyed him with Alexa which is probably why I remember exactly how much I saw people endlessly shit on him then try and pretend they didn’t shit on him when he died. Lot of the people pretending to be sad he’d never get his big return were happy the day before that he was still out injured.

The thing with Bray is that he was always Creative as Hell, with things like the Firefly Funhouse match being his masterpiece. I do agree that the actual Wrestling is the least important part about Pro Wrestling, and Bray was able to get people interested off of ideas and gimmicks alone. Shit, he actually HAD a gimmick beyond "I wear generic gear and am a Wrestler"

The problem is, Bray desperately needed a Tard Wrangler, because for every Good idea, there were at least 5 Bad ones. The less said about his Mic Time the better - his pretapes in the Funhouse were probably some of his better work, but goddamn you'd think he was paid by the word with how much he'd ramble without saying anything of substance on the mic.
