agreed, its going to hurt ESPN and TKO but certainly ESPN more, most sportsball fags hate wrestling and want nothing to do with it, and many including myself are just going to go to Netflix and use a VPN considering most major VPN services only charge you yearly, and I don't think VPNs are likely to be regulated in the US anytime soon due to the tech lobby so this is of zero Benefit to ESPN, as for TKO they are certainly going to take a PR hit from this and I doubt they can back away now, but theyll still making money off Netflix and ESPN will have to give them a cut any subscription increase which while miniscule will still be a lot of turbo-normalfags who dont know what VPNs are
 
Who the fuck watches ESPN outside of being at a Buffalo Wild Wings, a waiting room at a doctors office or an airport bar at 7am cause there's nothing else on anyhow?

They figured out that their viewership was going the way of CNN. The "solution" is to push (increasingly) stupid and silly talk-heads while buying up the rights to live sports content for their paywall(UFC, NFL Network, now WWE). At least with wrestling you wont have to pay for the paywall to get the ability to pay $80+ for the PPVs like with the UFC.
 
So, what's the over-under on ESPN making Stephen A Smith cover Wrestling, and if so how retarded is he going to sound? Bonus points for him trying to bring up LeBron.

Look he has what, 20 other shows he does for ESPN, it wouldn't surprise me if that fucktard winds up talking about it...

that would be retarded, hoping they keep the same pre and post show format they had for Summerslam, and while im not going to praise them for le 5d Chess because they are still letting ESPN Jew people who dont know what a VPN is out of money, TKO had to have known there would be a not small portion of their American Viewership would just set their VPNs to Canada in 2025 and watch there, not to mention this also lets them watch SmackDown if they go for weekly TV too, people are far too used to be paying under 10 dollars a month to access PLE's I don't see wrestling fans ever accepting to return to Cable prices

You just can’t put the toothpaste back in the tube. I’ve been paying 9.99 then 4.99 and currently nothing as Peacock is just included with my Instacart subscription for WWE PPVs since 2014. I am not increasing that to 29.99. Especially not for 5 match shows where nothing happens outside of Mania or SummerSlam and even when something does happen it’s the boring predictable thing. HHH current booking is maybe the worst time in history to try and convince me to go back near old PPV prices.

and before some fucking loser is literally like well actually the WWE women’s intercontinental title and the SD tag titles changed hands away from mania or SS or something like that. Yeah I mean something that even slightly matters and 95% of WWE titles do not.

Jeddah getting the first WrestleMania outside of North America would cause nuclear levels of seethe, I wouldn’t be the biggest fan of it but im almost certain that they can survive enough PR hits like a nuclear bunker and come out mostly unscathed like I’d rather WrestleMania stay in the US or Canada because I wanna watch it at night, but there’s many in the IWC who will complain despite it doing nothing
