that's another good point, I would be good with Cena handing the belt with Cody and a hand-shake to end it but with the crowd being massively being in favor of Cena it would make a good moment but yeah you dont really have anyone ready to take his role yet for the rest of the year afterwards

Have always hated when this happens in matches, if a ref has to check on a guy for that long it should be a stoppage, they shouldn't be allowed that much rest while the ref forces their opponent to not attack them. I get the possum spot but I hate that refs have to be stupid enough to allow it.
