Agh. I really have a bad taste in my mouth from all these wrestlers on social media who are making it a point to NOT say anything about Hulkster’s death while posting about other shit.

Is this that whole 'silence is violence' thing I've heard about?

It went beyond the point of protecting himself to screwing over the rest of the wrestlers on the card such as Starrcade 97 and the Fingerpoke of Doom
Right, this is where I will probably come across as a seething retard here but as a WCW kid I never actually saw the problem with the fingerpoke of doom. It's actually a pretty cool idea where a person would lay down to allow their best friend/leader to win the belt, and it'd have been an interesting midcard type of situation if the stakes were lower (I actually think I saw something similar happen in a battle royale where someone stepped out of the ring to help their friend win) so the issue itself was with the WCW belt being tossed around. Shortly afterwards the whole concept of the WCW belt being desecrated wasn't really a thing, but at the time I don't think it was too damaging, it was an interesting and unique concept that kids would love that got shit on far more than it should because of WWF fans shitting on it and Meltzer treating it like the fucking holocaust.

Starrcade? Seems like an easy one huh? Sting comes back after a year out and beats Hogan clean in his first match back. The crowd go wild and Sting ends the NWO? Except... Sting was hideously out of shape and struggling with issues outside the ring. It's actually really funny how everyone just assumes that Sting fucking hated Hogan for fucking him over at Starrcade but even Sting himself didn't seem to have any issues with it. From Sting's perspective he was the Dungeon of Doom monster to be built up so Hogan could beat him. Rewatching the build up was interesting because Sting always seemed to get the upper hand in any of the brawls beforehand, so it made sense that Hogan would win in any traditional wrestling sense.

It's funny how Sting's tribute was probably the most heartfelt I've seen out of anyone posting tributes. He didn't give a single shit about his booking when he was an active wrestler so why should he care about it 30 years later? Meltzer and co have been stirring shit up for years when even the people involved don't give a shit.

Fuck this jobber for using Chuck Mangione as his statement piece.
Never liked MVP.
He’s a jigaboo loser.
But wasn’t Hulkster MUH RACIST?
Anyways never thought I'd use Lio Rush to prove a point, but you and people like you seem to need to hear this
Massive respect to Lio Rush for saying all that.

Idk why I can’t see what you responded to but if it’s that ugly whore Mercedes Mo-can’t wrestle then fuck her.

I think for why so many gravedance over hogan is because he took down gawker which is unforgivable to many in the general entertainment news sphere. It’s not about wrestling he sued gawker and won. In retaliation they aired him saying nigger as a way to punish him.
They hate him because he openly supported Trump. That's it. Everything else they cite is just post-hoc excuses to mask over that core grievance. The n-word. Ancient unionization shit. And nobody even gives a shit about Gawker ten years later except for the journos who used to work there or orbit it.

I watched Summerslam 2005 because I wanted to see the full Hogan vs Micheals event. Holy shit I think it might be one of the best WWE PPVs. Michaels and Hogan is great and so is the culmination of Dirty Dom’s custody battle with Rey and Eddie. I lament I wasn’t watching wrestling back then it’s making me rethink how I evaluate Ruthless Aggression.

Yeah but so did Taker.
But Taker didn't speak at the RNC while Hogan did. Instead, from what I'm aware, Taker just melded into Trump's pre-election podcast tour, which was largely perceived as Trump's strategy to appeal to young normie men. Hell, I don't even think Taker gets mentioned as one of the major stops on that tour. Meanwhile, Hogan at the RNC was big news. Everyone knew about it. I'm confident that Hogan's RNC and Madison Square Garden rally appearances, followed by Trump's win, lead directly to Hogan getting boo'd by salty libs at the January Raw Netflix premier in Los Angeles.

Because Undertaker, ol locker room leader, is a nobody outside of wrestling.

Yeah because it is a shitty argument, I love to remind people that DX did exactly the same thing too and nobody remembers that. I understand that it was the biggest storyline at the time and DX did it for the europe belt or whatever it was called, but I will reiterate what I have said previously, you can always fix bad booking, look at WWE in the 2010s, a lot of us came back didn't we? It was bad business and that's what got them.
As far as the hulkster booking himself goes, he was perfectly in the right to do so, if he didn't then the spectacle of Hogan would've died, lets not forget even him being the third man was a product of him finding out that they were gonna go with Sting if he didn't take it, if that didn't happen there would be no wrestling boom in the 90s. He put himself above everyone else because he was, nobody has ever or will ever rival the hulkster in the wrestling business and that's a shoot brother. Nothing else matters, and all of these jabroni smarks can go fuck themselves, they would never have a job if it wasn't for him. They are retarded and do not understand that the people they appeal to authority with like Sheik or Taker or whoever couldn't care less about how good of a person he was or whatever, its because he saved his spot and didn't put them over. He asked for and got things because he could and its not his job to run the companies he works in. This is the greatest loss to the business and nothing will ever come close except Vince who will not get the respect he deserves as well until after he's gone, which I hope is a long time away.

"When we win, do not forget these people want you broke, dead, your kids raped & brainwashed. And they think it's funny."

The IWC really showed their true colors as truly evil people. I hope they know all of the Japanese wrestlers they suck up to wouldn't want their daughters dating black men (let's be real. Interracial dating will never be popular of any race unless the boyfriend/husband is white/whitepassing by most Asians/any non black race) either or let alone support them celebrating the death of an individual. It really sucks that Hogan's last few months on earth was being hated. I'm glad that wrestling is a dying business and fuck AEW & Tiny Khan for ignoring his death while profiting off Owen's death when the dude never worked for aew & died 21 years prior.

If the "finger poke of doom" didn't happen the same night as Foley winning the title and if we didn't get the 'that'll put butts in seats' line, I don't think it would be shit on nearly as much. The whole thing is really overblown. Shit,I think Mr.McMahon being the higher power all along was stupider than the finger poke.

Fuck MVP, Punk, Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch for talking so much shit. Especially MVP considering he was a criminal who was able to turn his life around. If anyone who would know anything about making mistakes and redemption it should be him. Seth shouldn't even be talking considering he had 2 knee injuries in a year.
