I guess it's not really a surprise when wrestlers die, even not knowing about his recent health, but it's still a weird feeling to lose a big part of your childhood and the reason 5 year old me became a wrestling fan and grew up to to become a shitty indie wrestler that didn't make it. At least I didn't try to adopt the leg drop from him, I couldn't afford to lose 6 inches of height plus my hip and back got fucked up enough as it is. You can say what you want about Terry Bollea, there's a lot of evidence that he was pretty shitty at times, but Hulk Hogan will always be a childhood hero. Exactly. It's like that old guy that used to own the LA Clippers got called a racist because he was caught on tape yelling at his prostitute/girlfriend about taking pictures with Magic Johnson and posting them. He even says he didn't care if they had sex (telling her to fuck a guy with AIDS is funny itself) just not to post pictures together with other men because the other 80 year old billionaires with 20 year old girlfriends were making fun of him. To be fair he might have also thrown in a "colored" or some other old timey slur because he was old, but it wasn't even the N bomb and he still had to sell his team.
I'll still defend Hulk said nothing wrong, or at least nothing any other father wouldn't say. Hell I don't even have kids and I can agree with him. He even said he didn't care about her dating or marrying a black guy, as long as "it's one of those 7 ft millionaire NBA guys" and not all the Soundcloud rappers and producers hanging around her when she was trying to have a "music career". The worst things he said were really no different than Chris Rock's Blacks vs Niggas bit, but he used the no-no word and we live in a society where you must be perfect because you can never apologize enough for mistakes.
It's disgusting trying to go on twitter and the first tweets are all the subhuman ubermarks trying to make memes and celebrating "another racist is dead".
