The words from Sting…

He’s a better man than me. I’d likely take Starrcade 97 to the grave with me. That really should’ve been one of the biggest and best moments in the entire history of wrestling, and everyone involved fucked it up.

and to think if he didn't still have beef from Jesse Ventura he could have made a few appearances on SNME
WWE was not picking Jesse over Hogan. Like I posted a few pages back Bubba the Love Sponge was giving updates like Hogan can no longer talk. He may have been in rough shape for months and they kept him off SNME because he literally physically could not do it. But I’ll bet my damn life it was not well we NEED Jesse so sorry Hulk or Hulk saying I won’t come if Jesse. Hulk would shake Jesse hand and brother him up and say 1000 words while not actually saying sorry once and then just move on to keep making the money.

When Vince comes out from the cancellation pit to tweet something you know it’s legit, Hogan wasn’t just a moneymaker for him, Vince gets a lot of shit understandably but he did care for a lot of talent, at least to some degree, I can’t imagine Vince is taking the news well either given what him and Hogan accomplished together

Bryan Alvarez is on live right now talking about how mania 3 tickets went on sale only in like February that year and sold like 78k tickets.

McMahon put out a statement that was obviously not written by a lawyer or checked with AI (snicker)

Hogan said the only two things Atlas could do better then him was chuck spears and eat watermelon in local promos. But compared to Dick Slater or Ric Flair or Greg Valentine, his racist promos weren't that bad

So Hogan was, in fact, not Immortal. Can't wait for all the YouTubers to add it to 'the many lies of Hulk Hogan' videos they do.

Flair and Luger are both still alive, so it looks like the Alliance to End Hulkamania was a success.

More seriously, I'm kinda 'ehh' on Hogan's passing. Ozzy's passing rattled me a bit more, but the dude was a hero to a ton of people.

RIP Hogan, Reddit is surprising me with the amount of hatred they have for the Hulkster, even now. I guess I was dumb in thinking they would pretend like the bad things never happened but I forget we have to be perfect human beings like them.
He appeared at a Trump rally. The surprising thing would be if the Reddit hivemind got introspective.

Null[ This is pretty important, might wanna put this in Community Featured Submissions.
You can make a post in the thread yourself. No need to tag Null, dude.

Alvarez just said he got a message a few days ago saying what Bubba said is not true but it’s not looking good. The person said it’s not as bad as Bubba is saying.

Says he was told Hogan underwent a bunch of surgery says Bubba claimed Hogan was in a coma but Bryan was told he wasn’t. Bryan was told Hogan was sleeping a lot and Hogan was unable to speak.

Alvarez just said he was told they brought in Kurt Angle for Real American Freestyle cause they thought Hogan would not be making appearances at least in the near future.

Alvarez now going over how Hogan could actually work and if you watch old SNME he’s actually a great worker.

He endorsed Trump on the big stage and said a naughty word about the most coddled class of "humans". They will never see him as anything other than evil personified.
This is certainly true.

However, I don't respect reddit retards anywhere near enough to case what they have to say.

Life's too short to care what a bunch of "French Fry Cooking Technicians" think.

Vince did get visibly choked up talking about Andre in that documentary, I'd wager he felt the same about Hogan even when they had their falling outs.

It feels surreal. As much as Redditoids and certain smarks want to cry about it, Hogan is the most important wrestler of all-time. Without Hogan, it's safe to say wrestling would still be a pretty niche sub-culture because 95% of the viewing audience wouldn't be watching today without its rise on television.

I think of the main eventers of that early 80's era, it's only Flair, Hansen and Lawler left, maybe Jake if you want to count him as a main eventer. Guys like Sting, Hart and Shawn came just after them, and thankfully, that was when the steroid usage came down, so hopefully, they get to live longer lives.

I feel we’re lucky that we had all the 90s Wrestling Leads still with us up until today. Perfect commercial.

BTW Bret is the only one who wrestled each man. The Rock vs Hulk Wrestlemania is an iconic match but really it should have been Austin vs Hulk.

Make no mistake, those tears from Vince weren't because of his feelings towards Andre, but at the fact it was the only thing he did in his life that he actually felt remorse for - fucking over Andre, the man who literally made his empire. Those were tears about his disbelief in what a wicked person he actually was - and a total POS and that he couldn't even internally come to grips with his how cold he was to that man.

Even Vince couldn't believe he could have been that fucking cold to a man who had the world at his feet and only ever helped him, and when it came time for Vince to fuck him over, he just looked at him and said "If that's what I mean to you, then go ahead and do it.", and let him.
