Yeah, I was thinking Bubba was full of shit, too, but now I think he was 100% telling the truthMight be time to apologize to Bubba the Love Sponge honest to god who like a month ago said Hogan was on his deathbed in the hospital and everyone was like oh they have beef he's just saying it to say it, might have been something more too that. Everyone was saying shit like look at Bubba sticking to his claims, maybe we shouldn't have been so quick to dismiss the claims of a guy so close to the situation.

Hulk Hogan raises eyebrows with dramatic new look: ‘What style would you call this?’
Remove Hogan from the hall of fame for racism.I am seeing a lot of people gravedancing his death because of MUH RACISM, but these same people bemoaning this shit probably said tons worse in their Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (the good one) lobbies 10+ years ago
If you’re a wrestling fan now, it’s because of the work Hogan did at some point or another. I was a young kid watching wrestling in the 90s, and Bash at the Beach 96 flipped my world upside down. Scummy person or whatever, don’t care, he’s the biggest icon in professional wrestling.
Listening to Voodoo Child right now
Trite to say but don’t hate the player, hate the game. Hogan was a walking cash cow throughout the majority of his wrestling career and no one wanted to say “no” to him. They clearly could have, but put yourself in the shoes of being a promoter in the 80s and 90s. You’d be foolish to not give him what he wanted.Hulk Hogan was well before my time, and my initial opinions of him were tarnished by stories of backstage politics
"Justice for Billy Kidman" lmaoI am not looking forward to the hundreds of videos titled something like "Hulk Hogan: a complicated legacy" as some British guy talks for 2 hours about how hogan buried so and so and politicked and 1 minute about the nigger word but pretends he hates hogan over the nigger word and not his mark ass gripes because Hulk held down his favorite.

Reddit is pure cancer, what did you expect?RIP Hogan, Reddit is surprising me with the amount of hatred they have for the Hulkster, even now. I guess I was dumb in thinking they would pretend like the bad things never happened but I forget we have to be perfect human beings like them.
this is the most notable non vince death wrestling could ever have unless someone like shoots up the locker room and mass kills all of WWE or some shit, it's the most notable "normal" death possible.@Null This is pretty important, might wanna put this in Community Featured Submissions.
Kinda sad that well never get a Hulk appearance in AEW I felt like he was missing from the Sting retirement matchTo be fair to Tony, what's he supposed to say here? TK is a hysterical bleeding vagina about Hulk Hogan.
the thing about him was he was such a big star that he pulled rank a lot to get his way like at that Caesars Palace Wrestlemania he demanded to walk out as the WWF Champion and threatened to leave the company if he didnt get what he wanted he also had a lot of creative control over the NWO storyline in WCW and it was great at first but it slowly turned into a dumpster fire.Trite to say but don’t hate the player, hate the game. Stark contrast, TNA, when he was well past his prime and was resting on his past accolades. Foolish, but Hogan didn’t put himself in a position to doom that company. That was Dixie Carter.
I’ve done so much research on Hulk over these past few years, and in terms of specifically the wrestling business (not personal dealings), he just knew more about it than anyone else. Terry Bollea’s biggest fault was that he knew how much he was worth and knew how to get what he wanted. It’s really up to others to give in and buy into that hype. They did, for better or worse.
I think the thing that made me laugh most was reading the recounts of Billy Kidman who thought his name carried the same weight as Hogan’s.
Current fans are too young to have watched him and believe the narrative. Wrestlers from Hogan's era were all scumbags, but they want to believe Hulk was the only one because Bret Hart hates him.McMahon was rhe most important overall, but Hogan was the most important wrestler in the history of wrestling.
Every Gen X and Millennial kid fucking loved him. You're going to have a ton of people shitting on him and denying because they're marks and don't understand the tall tales he told were part of his character or because he didn't want his daughter messing with blacks or because he's conservative. Fuck em.
