Carltio doesn't surprise me, I was always under he was more of a favor to be part of a peace treaty with WWC and Carlos Colon
R-Truth I bet he wants to work another five years or so, WWE wants him on a legends deal, and he'll come back after he's done in MLW/Impact/CMLL/New Japan/Soft Ground

Truth was one of those genetic freaks who could still move like a 21 year old in his twilight years. He deserves a big sendoff. I hope, before his contract expires, they give him a retirement match where he gets to wrestle his choice of opponent on TV, so he can go out with a bang and not by getting squashed by a big sweaty man.
Dean Ambrose: gets a farewell storyline when his contract is expiring
R-Truth: gets nothing

I didn't know Ron Killings was in his 50s already. Dude looks at least 15 years younger than that.
Black don't crack, nigguh. For real though, man's has been wrestling since '97. He was in WWE when it was still WWF. And early weekly PPV era TNA as well. 3Live Kru's entrance music will always be a favorite of mine for the line "a redneck (Road Dogg) and a spic (Konnan) backed up by a negro (Truth)?!". Nearly 30 years he's done what Kevin Nash refers to as "fumblefucking".

Bradshaw is hilarious.

By the way, anybody find this Cena run completely phony? I just don't buy it. Cena has always been pretty open about being a polarizing figure.

I'm starting to think it was more a money thing with Truth and Carlito.
Truth being very loyal to the guy who gave him work since like 2008(?) likely didnt help and he probably had a sweet deal set up that cost a lot.
Carlito well he got a run and got paid, fair play to him but he did very little.

Wonder if it was a HHH call or the board tightening the belt without regards to how bad it looks to unceremoniously dump a wrestling institution. I can't see HHH being THAT dumb and not realizing the backlash it would cause.

Man, it's getting rough seeing all my childhood heroes getting so old.

The Lapsed Fan podcast and Wrestling Soup podcast have been shitting on it for months. It's suppose to be a bit avant garde but for a lot of people it is massively disappointing and they admit it is probably too late to have great match quality since Cena is too old and broken down at this point.

the hair color and beard look so edited on sting lul.

any sauce on the left? i know the right one is lita

That's Trish, I think.

Stinger stopped dyeing his hair once he retired but he still does the face paint for signings. I have huge respect for the guy because he was the one who suggested all the crazy high spots in his run in AEW because he didn't just want to coast off his name and he apparently wanted most of it to be about putting Darby over as his spiritual successor.

i wish we could see stinger a bit longer in wwe, it wouldve been interesting taking revenge on all wwe guys as a wcw guy, but i respect that he went off wwe after 2016 to wrestle more for 9 years. hope he enjoys his retirement cuz he deserved it
WWE wasted Sting by having him face HHH at Mania and turning it into some gay DX vs. nWo shit. It also seems like they wanted to kill him by putting him in the ring with Seth.

I love Sting and dislike WWE but this was pretty much all Sting's fault. Years before they were planning on doing Sting vs. Undertaker at Wrestlemania but Sting backed out at the last second and returned to TNA, and then they had to pretend like the spooky vignettes they were running were for Chris Jericho and did a HHH/Undertaker rematch at Wrestlemania. By the time Sting finally did come in they were both too old to have the match everyone wanted to see.

i agree with getting buried by HHH sucked, but DX vs NWO was a nice reunion imo. Also Seth injured himself more than injuring other people afaik.

also lol @ victory road 2011 main event. he probably regrets throwing WWE away for that.

You think Carlito will be given an segment tonight to written off television or will he get the Poochie treatment and have it be revealed he was deported back to Puerto Rico removed from the Judgment Day offscreen?

Hulkster appears again to cut a promo, where he claims he worked with "a good friend of his" to "send Carlito back where he belongs." Concludes the segment by adding on he also got rid of R-Truth but doesn't mention why specifically.
