She has a chip on her shoulder but unlike her faggot idol CM Phil, there's nothing there. She can cry that she tried her best and get all the reddit/twitter pity she wants but that doesn't change that she sucks, she will suck literally soon and is burning her bridge with WWE.
Cora seems to have hit her peak and she's nothing special. She seems like the type who's going to do a bunch of interviews and talk shit about how she wasn't used properly or whatever. She'll be able to get wrestling gigs without much issue just because the mark bookers love to be able to say they have WWE talent on their show. Unironically she'd be better off following the Mandy Rose model and capitalizing on her popularity among coomers to rake in a bunch of cash now.

So I haven't been as active in the thread, but I've kept up on TV. God these past few weeks have been a prime example of that post-Mania lull. I'm having a hard time feeling like I have to commit to watching these programs, but I still watch.

Overall, I think the honeymoon with Paul Levesque as booker is over. I don't think there needs to be a change in who does the booking, but it is very obvious that Paul's booking method is not helping the product. And you can point to the fans who are cheering and singing in choreographed style, but that can't overcome what feels like plodding storylines. This new faction of Rollins, Breakker, and Heyman should be the top buzz maker, but it hasn't really registered. The bullshit last week between Sami Zayne and Rollins with the "don't make me hurt you" crock is akin to Deathriderz bullshit in AEW.

I'm trying to keep my hopes up but it's just not working for me, brothers.

WELP..

He'll just end up being generic Mexican wrestler #259 now. Working for the Disney of wrestling means you are just there to hit your spots and sell t-shirts.

As opposed to sitting at home and not hitting your spots while working for the Six Flags of wrestling?

How funny would it be if Jey loses? KWABOTY?
Unfortunately, Jey didn't lose. The main event was just a clusterfuck of run-ins like it was an episode of Nitro in 2000. I don't think the ref even called for the match to end, there just wasn't a finish. I don't know what the point of this match was if you're not doing the title change.

Wrestlers from AAA who have already signed contracts with WWE:
- Alberto del Río (lol)
- Hijo de Dr. Wagner
- Hijo del Vikingo
- La Parka
- La Hiedra
- Lady Flammer
- Lady Maravilla
- Niño Hamburguesa
source: https://x.com/ocampoxlaw/status/1919264076263223340
Also according to the same source: "The contracts are meant to integrate AAA’s roster in Mexico. They are not expected to take part in events in the United States. Some may appear in crossovers with NXT, but only a few."
Another tidbit: WWE could be planning to raid CMLL (presumably to lock out Tony Khan from Mexico)

He's gonna make money off merch?! The horror, the horror!! :lossmanjack:
How's La Faccion Ingobernable doing, by the way? How's "The Beast" Frank doing, by the way?
Has Hechicero won a single match worth a flying fuck? Of course not. :shit-eating:

On top of that, what were Fenix and Penta doing in AEW prior to their release? Nothing at all for many months.
The narrative from AEW fans that Tony Khan treats the Mexican wrestlers better is bizarre. Yes, WWE has luchadors they're not really using and probably have too many on the roster, but at least they can go to AAA every now and then.
Also, when WWE does bring in Vikingo they'll put together a couple of video packages to tell the audience who he is ahead of time instead of saying "Dream match!" over and over then telling you Google who he is like they did in AEW.

Imagine being a fat out of shape Jewish caricature like Paul Heyman and you somehow talk yourself into getting in a sports hall of fame. Zero athleticism. His greatest accomplishment in the industry was probably creating ECW but he's probably in the WWE Hall of Fame for pointing at Brock Lesnar and yelling about how great he is. Only in wrestling.

Heyman is great. Good on the mic, great for creative, certainly more deserving than half the current HoF.

to be fair, weren't one of them injured, and Tony still wanted to use them as a tag team rather than singles?
