I like WB overall, but I disagree with his criticism of RAW and Nitro having too many countout and DQ finishes. RAW and Nitro were just advertisements for the next PPV, the PPV matches should have the pinfall/ submission finishes. The big names don't need to be doing jobs on cable TV every week, that's why they're big names and not jobbers. It's the same with complaints about Monday night matches being too short. It was ok for Eddie Guerrero to have a 5 minute match sometimes.

And yet instead of staying retired and enjoying his legacy and health he's fucking it up more. Ignoring AEW booking he's wrestling with a body that's breaking down and if he doesn't retire while still in alright shape on a good match he might end up spending years chasing a good match to go out on as his body is way past when he should've hung up his boots like Taker did.
Shouldn't that guy have plenty of money from his career so far anyway?

Honestly i think some of these guys genuinely don't care about the money that much but they realise AEW/TK gives them a chance to get on TV/PPV and do shit they always wanted to that would never have happened in current day WWE.

Copeland honestly isn't even that bad in ring now but the risks for him are just too much and it's irresponsible to have him working anything other than the most vanilla 00/10s WWE style matches where he hits his shit and goes home. I mean, he broke his leg during a barbed-wire cage match in AEW. Of course he was going to get hurt working that sort of gimmick stuff, he's a middle aged wrestler with a huge lay-off and full touring career behind him. He's fragile as fuck.

I don't get why Darby has to be the one to beat Moxley. Does anyone aside from Tony Khan view him as being world champion material? It should be Ospreay, he's the most over guy on that roster and the top babyface. Having him be the one to finally beat Moxley and put an end to the Death Riders shit is the easiest layup ever.
They long ago decided Darby was their "break glass in case of emergency" face of the company guy but kept expecting/hoping Omega's cronies or MJF would work instead. Darby's Everest obsession seems to reflect a level of having checked out of the company mentally and I'm sure MJF has been poisoning Tony against Darby as well, given that MJF has the tendency to bury anyone who is a threat to his golden boy status ala HHH.

Ah yes, noted golden boy MJF who has spent the past few months working a dead-as-dogshit angle with Shelton and Lashley.

They are over as fuck despite being heels but MJF has been ice cold for a good while now. I like the guy but what they are doing with him at the moment isn't working and I don't see what the pay off to the angle will be.

He will be shoved down fans throats worse than Greg Gagne.

Seriously, at least with Buddy Murphy you can get drunk, turn the sound off, and pretend he is Curtis Hawkins. But Alistair is a Dollar Tree rip off of Bray Wyatt without anything that made Bray work as a character.
Hhh doesn't do characters, only heatless matches with dimeless wrestlers. Look at all the womemes matches and tell me they draw.

I'm guessing tonight's Smackdown was a giant piece of shit. If you're watching THAT over NBA and NHL playoffs you need to reevaluate your life choices and I say that when I'm a bigger fan of manly ballet.

Edit: Thought today was Friday. Well logic still applies, watch the playoffs.

Hogan, Bischoff and that Izzy guy did an interview on Fox News about "Real American Freestyle" which is their wrestling (?) promotion (?) and I still don't really understand what it is. It sounds like they want to mix collegiate style wrestling with storylines along with "incentives" for doing certain "dramatic" things during matches, but they did a shitty job explaining what the fuck is going on. They definitely don't want to admit it's a work. Also worth noting that Hogan is rocking the spray can black beard he used to do when he was in the NWO.

So they're bringing back shoot style/UWFI rules?

That's gonna be a mess. Whether it's a work or not, people don't want to watch amateur wrestling.
