I'm enjoying the start of the run with Rollins, Heyman, and Breaker.

The promo with Rollins and Sami before the last match was really good, and just the siren hit when Sami said no to Rollins just spot on timing. (and also likely the only Def Rebel song that isnt UTTER SHIT)
I love how over Breaker is, Sami was dying on the ground and the crowd was begging for him to keep hitting the spear. it was great.
I'm looking forward to seeing who gets added to the group. I could see them against , Punk, Reigns and some others at Survivor Series

If Gunther doesnt slap the utter shit out of Pat there is no good or merciful God in this world.

Not totally in order:
  1. Opening promo was great crowd in KC seemed to be souring on Punk over Rollins, but thats what you want, younger guy over an old dude. I can see Sami joining after a few beatings and betraying Jey after he beats Logan.
  2. Getting AJ versus Dom is gonna be good! The spin off of Finn from the JD is still nice, and Nice to see J D mcdonnagh back.... to immediately eat the loss to War Raiders!
  3. Tag scene on Raw needs more Baby faces currently there is only the War Raiders, and maybe Otis and Tozawa (but they are now busy with Rusev). Lots of Heel teams: JD, New Day, A-Town, American Made. More baby faces needed.
  4. Ripley and Iyo in another storyline where the champ and main challenger are a tag team against another team. Bullshit booking. What a shit intro for Guilia as well, no major promo or video package just there as Roxanne's friend? also Roxanne should have won, cleanly or dustily. Not looking forward to the Iyo / Ripley match again.....
  5. Rusev promo gonna beat people better cause they are wasting their talents like he did, good set up, think its similar or a continuation of AEW character (I don't watch so don't know)
  6. Enjoyed the slightly unhinged Becky promo, attacking Bailey before WM and beating Lyra, Think they are gonna swap the belt to her and then her and Bailey fued. Lyra, dead in the water.
  7. Logan and Jey, had a bit of a kurfuffle in Ring. Always appreciate how much WWE work with Make a Wish (even if its a tax dodge or just blatant PR farming its still a nice thing!

I will say favorably of BTLS, one of the ONLY shock jock bits I found funny was when he went to satellite and could say "shit" they did a stunt of "the shit hits the fan" where they had a fan blowing and threw literal shit into it and it really did fly everywhere

Logan is a good filler challenger. He's "good enough" and usually has entertaining matches. I hope Jey doesn't have a Kofi reign where he's booked super strong. He should eek by his title defenses and be seen as an underdog Champ.
 
thought cena-randy opening to SD was kinda meh

john's cookie cutter modern WWE heel promo was... uninspired. he decided to "Destroy rasslin" because they chanted let's go cena cena sucks for years? heels are supposed to be a little crybabyish but not that much lol

randy pandering to the crowd and muh WWE universe in approved modern WWE fashion... i get it the bulk of the modern fanbase are basically ledditors who need never-ending constant asspats and choccy milk from the faces but that doesnt mean i have to like it

This was my problem with the buildup to Cena vs Cody. Instead of Cody wanting to get revenge on the guy who kicked him in the nuts and beat the shit out of him, and also defending his title at the biggest show of year, they had Cody talk about defending the honor of the WWE fans and how he gave his soul to them. Fuck off with that infantile crap.

I can't really disagree with this. Unfortunately it's what happens when Gunther was typecast as the go-to bad guy to beat at Mania two years in a row. At least with the Sami loss, Gunther had a clear path to the WHC. Now I don't know what he does. If Gunther vs McAfee goes 5 minutes and most of that is Gunther destroying him so he gets back some credibility, then I can't complain too much about it. That match can't be 10-15 minutes of 50/50 bullshit.

Pillman ODed. I think you are thinking of Eddie Guererro. And Eddie and Bulldog's heart issues were exacerbated by cocaine use as well as steroid abuse.

Searching for his cause of death only brings up articles about him dying from a heart disease that went undiagnosed, and that he was apparently clean at the time.

It's worse than that. Metallica did a whole movie during the hunt for a new bass player after Jason got sick of being around those two drunk old women, and the other abused child. Hogan just added himself to the many people who auditioned.

Latin Lover mentioned that Abismo had that "devil" hallucination before, it very well might have been that bad drugs just exacerbated his paranoia and he had the mother of all bad trips. He went off into the hills, at some point texted his wife, then had another wigout and drowned.

Authorities in Mexico are notorious for cutting corners. If nobody put pressure on the forensic team, they were never going to do anything past the bare minimum.
