I watched the latest Wrestlemania with friends and there was a tranny there in the front rows that was absolutely hideous and kept distracting me.
You mean the one with the weird hair a row back in between the chink flip that dress as macho man and the chinless incel in the green shirt who's at every US PPV for the last 10 years making the same faggoty faces DSP does because he has no jaw?

They should have shown Superstar's time in NWA

Speaking of Bob Backlund

Billy Graham is a bit of a sad case. After his run with the WWWF belt, combined with his look and charisma, he should have been able to make bank in other feds, but instead, he chose to stay home and soothe his shattered ego with drugs. Unfortunately for him, he only had another year or 2 to really collect as his body was breaking down from his long term (since the late 60s) steroid abuse. By the time he came back to the WWF in late 1982, he was virtually immobile. He couldn't sell (his main in ring attribute) like he was able to in his prime. It's a shame, I really like Superstar Graham the wrestler, but Wayne Coleman the man, couldn't seem to get past his demons and his bitterness towards the business. Damn shame.

Not only was it a fucking tranny but he had the audacity to be dressed like a little fucking girl. Why are troons so attracted to wrestling? Is it just because a lot of wrasslin fans are autistic?
Not only that, but he had near front row seats for both nights of Mania and for Raw, and wore the same horrific hot pink shirt all three nights.

Imagine being a poor SOB who drops thousands on tickets only to get forced next to that horrific thing for three nights in a row...

Its been this way since the early 2010s. It is well known that a shit ton of smarks, not all of them but the vast majority, are the most left-wing people out there, and a large reason because of that is because Vince is a Republican and since these people absolutely hate Vince, they have to be the opposite of everything Vince stands for (It's not the only reason why they're diehard lefties, but it is a pretty large reason). It also doesn't help that a lot of these smarks used to be edgelords, and once being an edgelord was no longer in vogue, they had to also become an SJW in order to not get cancelled for saying all of that stuff, even Bryan Alvarez used to be an edgelord on his old show he did and had to stop doing it and be a panderer in order to appease the people watching him and also due to him starting a family (which didn't really turn out well for him since he got divorced in the end). Lastly all of the old school rowdy fans, the rednecks and shit who used to watch wrestling, they went over to UFC starting in the late 2000s when WWE went PG since UFC was real and you started to have storylines and personalities occur in that company, so the smarks started to gain more and more influence, hijacking shows in order to get their way, and that's how we got here.

TLDR Old fans went to UFC, Smarks who were a small minority became more influential and went woke to avoid getting cancelled.

Stardom did 7503 at their latest show. The biggest number they've ever done and the biggest gate of the year in Japan for any company other than NJPW.

Looks like Rossy was completely irrelevant to their success and his "power play" of splitting off to found Marigold was a huge fuck up. Some random Bushiroad exec is doing better numbers than him.

Bron spearing Ishowspeed was funny, but him spearing Travis Scott would be satisfying

I still think ASGQ 23 was a better show overall, but ASGQ 25 was a damn good show. I have to say though I got WrestleMania X-7 vibes when it was done. We saw what could be considered the peak and things are going to change. Mayu presumably going to Marigold and Tam retiring leaves big voids. It will be interesting to see where they go from here.

Mayu vs. Syuri was incredible, it will be in the conversation for match of the year. The Tam vs. Saya match was great. Not as good as their Korakuen match, but still fantastic. The post match though was unbelievable. Legitimately one of the greatest moments in pro wrestling history. Tam will be missed. An amazing performer who gave everything she had for our gay sport.

Mayu vs Syuri was clearly the match of the show and one of the best of the year. I honestly felt underwhelmed by the main event as a match, if only because we've already seen Saya and Tam fight a million times before and they didn't do anything different outside of the finish. The post-match with them crying together on the ramp was kino, though.

The incel to tranny pipeline is a real thing.
So we are going to get Thunderdomer trannies soon? Oh god

If after he lost the title he had spent that time recovering from his injuries and getting off the pain killers, he could've had more time for sure. Instead he just kept lifting weights and using roids and pain killers. He should've quit the roids, let his body heal and then gotten clean off of the pain killers. Once healed and off of his pain killer addiction he could've hopped back on the roids and gotten huge again before his comeback.

i think we need more montreal screwjob posts to keep the thread alive.

hot take: bret should have never forgiven michaelshawn and oldberg and the old faceshitter.
I'm quoting a really old response, but here's the way I look at it: Bret is a great enough professional wrestler to know the value of storytelling, and when to end the story. Shawn, for all his numerous personality flaws, is the same.

And if Montreal isn't the greatest wrestling story of all time, it's up there. It was not a story he chose, of course, but regardless I can imagine that the lack of closure for Montreal in a grand storytelling sense would have driven Bret nuts. If it couldn't be settled inside the ring, the only closure available was outside.

There's also the fact that Bret in re: Montreal is defined by his lack of control; he was ultimately a puppet used by McMahon and Bischoff. Actively "forgiving" Shawn allows him to take some level of authorship over the narrative.

just finished watching janela vs sabu. wtf was going on towards the end with sabu repeatedly attempting to hug shit out?
