Plus the setup isn't even that cool to begin with. This spot is nothing versus his flaming table spear with Foley.
that's what I'm saying, make this shit work
even if it's because they have to take a minute to set the crap up, most AAA batshit spots take a minute or two of WE ARE ABOUT TO SOMETHING VERY STUPID as they try to keep it on fire

The April 16th episode of Dynamite will make AEW the longest running weekly pro-wrestling show in Turner Sports history.

They did it. They outlasted WCW.

Here is my issue with the Moxley-Cope match. If you remove the bat spot, it's the same fucking match they have put on already. A hundred run ins, a couple of false finishes, Cope loses cleanly, and the title means nothing.

We got two guys, combined age of 90, that only put each other over.

And can they stop pretending that a hardcore match is different than a regular match in AEW. It's all the same shit.

word on the streets is Hendry is gonna be on RAW tonight, also Breakker vs Penta is tonight which I find to be a very mild L, have a feeling the IC Title match at mania might be some sort of Multi-man (if Gable is involved id be very happy)

5 and a half years of Nitro and they were able to create so many memorable moments on that show that people not just in the wrestling sphere but old wrestling fans as well remember to this day, both good and bad. How many moments can AEW really say that people remember?

Most of the things I remember are from PPVs. I think the last time I watched Dynamite was like 2 - 3 years ago.

The not-exploding exploding barb wire ring, Sammy Guevara literally breaking Matt Hardy and them continuing the match, Andrade punching Sammy Guevara IRL in the face, Eddie Kingston punching Sammy Guevara IRL in the face, Darby nearly crippling himself like 3862154 times, Brawl Out, Brawl In, showing the Brawl In footage on Dynamite, the Cope vs Mox fiasco, the one Dynamite where they got only around 250k views, the super awful Devil storyline with MJF and Adam Cole and Adam Cole breaking his ankle before the storyline started.

whats funny is AEWfags arguing that AEW is the company that cares about its weekly TV when its mostly slop matches that occur, at least theres occasionally an interesting title match on TV on RAW and SmackDown

even as someone who was like 3 years old when the Monday Night Wars ended I can look back at most WCW segments on YouTube and say it deserved more chances than AEW has gotten, I regularly talk to older wrestling fans that remember shit like the build up to Hogan vs Sting, AEW hasn't had anything worthwhile in that department, the closest thing they had to anything exciting was when Punk showed up but they fucked that really badly to a point where they repaired his badly burnt bridge with WWE

Note how most of these are memorable for the wrong reasons. It’d be like if all WCW was remembered for was the finger poke of doom and the retarded Russo shit from its final years.

As long as Davey and cagematch give him his ass pats tony doesn't care about wrestling fans. If he did he'd actually try to build stars and not shive losers like wheeler useless down aew fans throats. Wardlow is super over bury him. All bookers in wrestling are ass

And I wasn't even shitposting or trying to be a edgy hater or something like that. It's honestly what first comes to my mind when thinking about AEW and I also honestly wish it wouldn't be like that, that my first thoughts would be the match of this guy vs that guy or this promo and that promo. And the moment I just try to think more about it only more stupid shit comes to mind. I kind of like(d) Hangman's story to become world champ but it's not one of the very first things when I think about AEW.

agreed, the product has been largely inconsistent from the start, literally almost nothing memorable about it, you could make the argument for the CM Punk and MJF Feud but it ultimately led to nothing because Tiny viewed Punk as just another Toy to play with it, its honestly a disgrace that Shahid will keep pouring Money into it when almost no one is interested in the product, I would have cut off Tiny after the Brawl Out, even as a WWE fan I don't want a monopoly in the industry again but whats even the point of justifying AEWs existence when they keep shooting themselves in the foot
