Not sure if I've said this before, I would have expected this carny shit in an indie wrestling show but not from a promotion that tries so hard to compete with WWE. TNA fortunately now looks sane compared to Tony's playpen.

I don't know what Jon is trying to prove here (being a pain addict, I guess) but he can just go back to the indies if he likes blood so much and being a masochist/sadist.
 
Well, Mox and his dumb shit made TMZ and ratings are up on both last week and last year so we are going to see more of this nonsense.

I genuinely hope AEW doesn't turn into a worked version of Bumfights but when you have braindead shite like Powerslap and BKFC doing sustainable business then who knows what's going to happen.
 
Bob Holly was an old school dickhead carny far past the era when that sort of behavior was accepted.

He knew enough not to fuck with any of the established guys in WWE/F but he'd routinely tune up newbies on live TV and was a notorious asshole to the WCW and ECW guys when they started coming over.

However, his problem was that no one backstage had a whole lot of time for him so if Random Jobber #57 or Buff Bagwell or Dreamer or whoever started giving him receipts the attitude was: "oh well, he's had that coming for a while now".

He's one of the more notable pieces of shit in the business and it was all for nothing because he was only ever a midcard good-hand.

The way I heard of it, Holly tried to sandbag Lesnar. At the time, one of Lesnar's moves besides the F5 was a powerbomb, sometimes more than one in succession.

And Lesnar's not the kind of guy to let old fucks sandbag him, so Holly landed on his neck.

That's one theory. According to Holly, the spot was supposed to be that Holly was going to reverse it into a drop kick (Holly had a great drop kick). If you watch the clip of it, it's kind of hard to tell. Could be miscommunication. Could be Lesnar making a mistake. Could be Holly sandbagging him. Only two people know for sure and one of them (Holly) denied that was the case.

It looked like Brock just gave up and dropped him as a result of sandbagging to me, but again, it's never been confirmed by Brock.
