Apparently, the clothing you can unlock in The Island only unlocks for one gender at a time, so say if you have a Male character and purchase a piece of clothing, if you want to use it on Female characters, you have to purchase it again. 2K's already going full bean counter with the microtransactions.

Also, the clothing from The Island can't be edited either.

no more like New Englander 9/11, in all seriousness most of us actually quite enjoyed him going heel after being Face for that long, as a Cena Zoomer who started watching in 2007 I was thinking "this is cool as fuck", as im now 26 and know its scripted its not really something that hurt my feelings, I can't imagine a lot of kids these days are upset about it, given the fact they mostly know Cena from Movies and probably started watching around the time Cena went part-time, Cody is more the guy for Gen Alpha id say (though older generations also like him better than they did with Cena when he was in that position)

I was thinking similarly, its a good thing Cody came back given the fact that Breakker is still young and he can hold down the fort for the next 2 years, I thought the last year of Roman's title run wasn't that good for the most part except towards the end of it when he was getting pissed at the fans in the lead up towards WM40, without Cody there really wouldnt have been someone who could have credibly taken the belt from Roman last year, with Cody they have their white meat babyface til they can strap the rocket to Breakker as the new guy around 2027

yeah, 2ks actions as of late has pissed me the fuck off, probably not gonna buy the game given the fact they gimped the PC verison over modding concerns, a lot of NBA 2k fans have also turned on them, they are arguably worse then EA

I still think LA Knight should win MITB this year. Hell, he should’ve won it 2 years ago. Knight seems like a WHC type of guy and he could really elevate it. They kinda chopped the legs out from under Gunther with that shitty Damien Priest feud that made him “scared” and I think he should’ve beaten Cody in Saudi personally.

But yeah LA Knight needs to move up to the main event scene. Breakker had many years from now to win the big boy belts. Gotta let these older dudes get their dues and time in. Bron is 100% Heyman’s next meal ticket after Roman.

Penta needs to win that IC title at mania or in Mexico. If Jey doesn’t win at Mania, have Breakker go after the WHC and have him beat Gunther. Or have Breakker beat Jey to win the WHC. Almost nothing can hurt Bron since he’s such a turbo athlete, Good on the mic and over with the audience. He’s like, unburyable.

Ill be honest I don't think kids watch pro wrestling anymore. Unless like Mr Beast is there or something.

wrestling cousin gifted me the Deadman Edition on Steam so I got early access, game feels pretty good so far, like a refined 2k24, no Island but I wasnt going to play that mode anyway, just wish Universe was abit better though

You're not missing much with the Island. I'm currently trying to grind the story for it just to get the unlockables. I don't plan on using it other than easier match making (and thats just being hopeful). Universe still is underwhelming but the small additions are nice. Just hoping it means it will eventually get more love. My game is borked now so I can't open my rise even though I did the first night.
I will say though showcase, as much as I love the documentary and the revert back to in game cutscenes the addition of time based objectives especially in multiman matches is retarded. But presentation wise pretty solid. I don't play my faction but I'll probably grind that out today to unlock RVD '97.

Also, not sure how you play universe, Superstar/Classic, but I've been having a blast just playing as a manager trying to get Hurricane to win the title.

Travis Scott killed ten children during a concert with faulty stage props and wasn't convicted. Between this and his ties to Dwayne "Sucks Cock" Johnson, I get the feeling someone is looking out for him in show business. He's a dumb nigger with an ego from being untouchable. If I was Cody, I'd be worried the guy will bring a prop gun or something to the match and Baldwin him.

that's actually a pretty neat hook for a game, doing heel manager stunts to keep your guy in the match
I have doubts a modern game really pulls anything off well but the concept could be a really fun stealth action / money sim or whatever
 
So people really like the Will Ospreay style wrestling where these guys very obviously set each other up for their flips?


This is just two person gymnastics.
