He’ll be fine. Most smarks give him a pass for everything since he pushes all of the indie darlings and because he ran NXT giving him that indie cred to the point that Reddit were giving him fruit baskets for it.

There are a few outliers who have tried to cancel him for stuff but they get drowned out. After all if he can get away with hating blacks, the Katie Vick stuff, wearing iron crosses, and all the other shit, then yeah he’ll get away with supporting Trump.

Oh I am well aware of behind closed doors type of stuff, and Vince is a known shagger for many decades. But you would think a man who is a billionaire, who was able to navigate the shady world that wrestling used to be, and come out on top, would have more about him than to get caught doing something so stupid. Its not the perversion that's shocking, its the fact he was so careless about it.

If it came out that "Vince is actually super straight and monogamous and only had conventional missionary sex with Linda for 50 years" I would find that shocking.

Between the Nash/Hall story of Vince saying "let me tell you about my first homosexual experience" and Vince's obsession with roided men I didn't find his omnisexual texts that shocking. Since his hero is MLK his BBC fetish was refreshingly consistent.

The scatt fetish stuff caught me more off guard as Vince was always reported to be a germaphobe enraged by people sneezing within 30 yards of him.

As far as Vince not being more careful, anyone engaging in scatt play already isn't in the risk-averse camp. His inability to think "Maybe I shouldn't write down my gang rape fantasies to my 30 something year old bang paralegal" is odiously consistent with a scatt fetishist.

From what I remember it wasn’t the germs from sneezing that upset Vince, it was showing a lack of physical control by sneezing, which falls in line with his control freak mind over body stance.

The scat really didn’t surprise me because it didn’t involve someone shitting ON Vince.
Someone shitting on him would have shocked me because I would never expect him to welcome being humiliated and degraded like that.
Him shitting on someone else while disturbing, is on brand for him if you think about it.
He’s shown over and over that he gets off on controlling and degrading and humiliating and dominating women (Trish barking for him as an example), shitting on them literally not just figuratively shows how deep that inclination goes.

my cousin fits this description perfectly. I was a wrestling fan since 93, he never cared for it around that time, so it was jarring for me to see him become this mega fan in 98, only to go back to not giving a shit by 01.

I still maintain Vince wasn't obsessed with them in a fetishy way but mainly because larger than life stars was what would put bums in seats and it's not like sports(which pro wrestling was considered to be at that point) aren't associated with strong, healthy men.
Now if someone made a wrestling promotion that was entirely fat women or muscular women I'd call that fetishy. And I thank God every day that Vince's tastes didn't lie there or something worse.

After the 80's Hogan years I remember 97-ish to 2000 being peak popularity of wrestling. It definitely started to fade away around 2001 when ECW and WCW folded and Austin turned heel at 'Mania. WrestleMania 17 was definitely a great way to end that boom period though.
 
Yeah, anyone shitting on Cornette for being depressed and sad for losing his dog have never had a pet they loved. Losing a beloved pet fucking sucks. Growing up I had a pet guinea pig that I spoiled rotten. I would give her tons of treats and pet and hold her a bunch. I'd let her run around our house and she'd just follow me around, sometimes laying down in the middle of the room. When I'd hold her, she'd just crawl onto my lap, close her eyes and squeek to me. She'd greet me every morning. Even though it was "just" a guinea pig, I loved her dearly and miss her to this day.
 
I understand some people not wanting to have kids, or being unable to have kids. Some people in this position end up showering their pets in (excessive imo) affection normally reserved for kids. They dress their pets up, take them to doggie day care, and in some cases spend more money on their pets’ medical care than their own. And in cases where people have both pets and children, it feels gross to mourn the loss of a pet on equal terms as losing a human loved one.

In my opinion, I feel some pet owners overdo it. I kind of felt the same way when Kirk Herbstreit’s dog died. Sadly, IMO, people gave more of a shit about that dog dying than a lot of legitimate tragic things that happen.
 
Yea it sucks losing a pet, but at the same time if he wants to publicly cry about it or make memorial youtube videos then sorry but that's gay and I'm laughing at it. It's the same shit teen girls do on social media for attention and a man of any age (especially Cornette's) deserves to be mocked.
 
Cornette blows but losing a pet is depressing as fuck, that's sad. It was love for pets that made Cornette like Omega, at least for a very short while.

In less depressing but more hilarious news, the WON awards once again being too nice to Tony Khan, dude doesn't deserve second place for best booker and much less does Dynamite deserve being the best tv show. A kid's WWE 2k25 My universe stream is a better wrestling show than Dynamite. It had almost double the votes than Smackdown, that's ridiculous.
