I do. But…Not like this man.
Take me back. To the good times.

Mox as a singles act in the early days of AEW was great.

The slow slide started with the whole BCC thing. Nothing says "tough guy" like having to have a bunch of other guys interfere in your matches so that you win before you all beat down the guy you just won against to close the show every. single. fucking. week.

I think the guy that actually carried them through the shittiest years (2014-2019) was AJ Styles, but I'm also just an AJ mark who wants him to have another run, especially in his Giga AJ roided to the gills state.
AJ Styles was def the smark pick for that era, I can agree with that.

But

Fair enough, John is a much bigger star and the best wrestler to the IWC meltzer set is always a guy outside the fed. AJ was this guy until he went to the fed, then it was Kenny, now it's Ospreay. Personally I don't share cornettes rampant Kenny hate or Meltzer's adoration, but he felt like a downgrade from styles. Ospreay feels like an even bigger downgrade from Omega.

Cena's character was rehabbed by his great matches with AJ and a near decade of putting people over (who outside of AJ never really got over, or like roman at summerslam, were already over). He's a lot more palatable as an attraction than he ever was as a weekly mainstay.

I'd rather see a punk Cena match than a Cena/Cody match as either outcome in a cena/cody match is going to degrade their standing. You'll get smarks chirping about super Cena or Super Cody.

I thought Gunther/Cena would have been money but whatever. Tough spot to book, Cena doesn't need a belt but you've booked him on the chase, honestly Cena Roman would be a nice match, or to bring it all back to who caused/carried the company through the dark times a Punk/Cena/Roman match would be great. Punk killed Roman with his "make Roman look strong remarks", Punk dipped on the company, Cena had to come back to ether Roman on promo because the Roman backlash was heavy and Cena Punk have the "Macho/Hogan" rivalry of the hardcore fans guy verse the mainstream guy.

If they do go Cena/Cody who do you want to win/what do you think they'll do with whoever loses? I don't see either turning heel so its tough for me to prognosticate.

Well, HBK books NXT so he won’t be booking Starks until he’s on the main roster. But Starks is like barely black if you wanna be real.
Starks is as Black as The Rock, which leads us back to the uncomfortable "representation" topic. To some in the Black community, light-skin or mixed-race niggers are not Black. They benefit by having White passing perks and/or upbringing benefits such as a stable home. Yes, it's that petty. So whenever the topic of notable Black WWE champions comes up, it just causes more arguments.

"But Ron Simmons, Mark Henry and Booker T..."

I know what you are about to say. But they won the World Heavyweight title, which is seen as secondary to the WWE title. Kofi Kingston, Big E and Bobby Lashley are the only "Blacks" to have ever held that belt and that line up still makes these race extremists seethe. Because even with these three being Black, they aren't being Black the right way. It's insufferable deal with, I tell you.

Maybe it is. It'd be the funniest shit after Hunter left Chyna for Stephanie if he'd turn around and cheat on her with Chyna 2.0 after securing his place in the company. I'm sure Joanie would be looking up and laughing about it from hell.
Cucking Buddy in the process...

To steal a line from Keith Lee: poor Buddy.

It truly depends on which parent is a minority. If the dad is a minority he's considered as the minority. if the dad is white like a Meghan Markle you are considered white until you try to fit in with the culture, like guila who's dad is Italian but since she's upbringing is in Japan they kinda consider her as if she's Japanese, she barely speaks English

Kofi Kingston, Big E and Bobby Lashley are the only "Blacks" to have ever held that belt and that line up still makes these race extremists seethe.
Ironically after Bobby & Big E won the title they were discredited because they said Roman is the true champion.

Her last relationship was with a black indie dude before buddy. Buddy is a beta bucks & I highly doubt the relationship is going to last considering he always hijacked any post she did when she was in a storyline with dirty dom.

I mean, it appears WWE recognizes those two winning the WCW World Heavyweight Championship as a big deal, especially since Ron Simmons was the first black wrestler to do so.

yeah WWE always treated Big Gold as a big deal, it's not THE main belt but it's important despite its non WWE origins

If Harley Cameron doesn't win the TBS Championship I'll riot.

Me personally I think she haunts HHH, every night when he looks in the mirror he sees Chyna. Every time he is with what remains of Degeneration X he sees her. Every time Stephanie talks about women's empowerment or every time he wants to book a woman's champion she reminds him what he done to her. Every time he has sex with his wife he sees One Night in Chyna haunting him further. At least until Rhea Ripley appeared.

Rhea Ripley is everything Chyna was before he broke up with her, in his mind he sees her becoming a Multi-time World Champion and her achieving a greater legacy beyond Wrestling. In fact he even sees her as a opportunity to make up for one of his greater sins in his mind. Perhaps it's something about the way she wrestled, perhaps it's the way she looks, or even the way she talked but either way he sees her. Every time he sees Rhea, he hopes that Chyna will fade away that she'll forgive him and not haunt him anymore. Perhaps it's to make up for his reign of terror also.

either of them winning would work for me, Cena winning his 17th or giving the rub to Cody would both be a good ending to WrestleMania, otherwise if they go Punk/Cody I think its better for Cody to win that as I don't think Punk particularly needs another World Title win.
