All the Rumble matches from 88-02 are on YouTube which is great. I love 90,91, and 92 the best.

This was presumably done because of The Island being on Gen 9 consoles-only, because they don't want PC modders to unlock the microtransaction content from The Island.

That's why Status got banned in 2k24. He figured out how to snag all the MyFaction. This island thing sounds exceptionally gay, and the games should have stopped supporting the previous generation a long time ago.

It was honestly 2001 yeah a lit of iconic moments happened in 97-99 but there was always a clear line of demarcation in the early attitude era between the main event stuff and the lower card for a lot of early to mid AE the lower card was just the worst and only really got better after they got rid of russo

Status getting banned was some bullshit. I don't buy these new WWE games and haven't played any of them since probably whichever game was the last one to come out on the Xbox 360. All this MyFaction shit and locking unlocks behind real money purchases and lootbox shit just makes me want to avoid the new games like the plague.

I would much rather prefer it if WWE were to purchase the source code for the various AKI N64 games from whomever owns them, and use said code to create their own WWE AKI game but for modern consoles. Add in not just current WWE arenas but also past ones, WCW/ECW arenas. Retain wrestlers from the past AKI games too and just add in new ones on top of it all. They wouldn't even have to put out a new game every year. Just keep adding onto the base game.

I know there's quite a few N64 AKI game modders out there, and I know one of them is working on a VPW2 (or No Mercy? I forget which) mod that add in features from all the other AKI wrestling games, to make a more "complete" AKI game experience. That's what I'm interested in. I love the old N64 wrestling games. VPW2 has the nice fighting style options so you can do shoot fighting (MMA), wrestling, or a mix. No Mercy and VPW2 have an excellent CAW mode, but No Mercy is missing some wrestler options that VPW2 has, like the aforementioned fighting styles. No Mercy has better weapons that remain on the ground and doing moves onto them does additional damage, other games lack this with Revenge specifically just wiping weapons out of existence when you drop them. All the games are good, but each game has its own little things that make you wish there was a game that had it all.

He wasn't banned for the myfaction uploads because 2k allowed him to do that 2 games before & after the original ban. He was banned for making a caw & uploading them with dlc moves & entrances before street date. Dude seriously thought uploading a caw with the entrance motion & moveset of punk wouldn't result in anything but a ban. He flew too close to the sun.
