Darby completely soured on me during the week of Sting's retirement, because "Sting is going out on his terms" and said Angle was a bitch for doing the match with Corbin.

Nevermind the fact that Angle is on record as wanting either John Cena or Jason Jordan (as the climax of the "black son" storyline, before he had to retire himself) as his final opponent. But Vince gotta do what Vince gotta do.

Does Darby going out on his terms means he gets to pick the wheelchair he's confined to? Or does he have more of a say, like what color the mouth piece he uses to direct the chair?

AEW could be running a decade from now with the Dynamite main event being John Silver against Serpentico and they'd still have more money than WWE.
 
Matt Riddle in the rumor mill again. This time he allegedly ripped off an indie promoter.

Unfortunately, thanks to Michelle Grey and her new client Matt Riddle, I couldn’t deliver what was promised. From the understanding between Matt and I, we had a deal for $8,000 plus travel, I’ve been told by someone that has investigated the situation that Matt was wanting $10,000. After speaking with our legal team, we have been informed that we can go after Riddle and Grey for damages, which includes the sales of the Meet & Greets, as well as the sales for the event. I will never work with Riddle again, as with his career in the WWE, he’s riddled with issues.

In our industry, a promo is as good as a contract. He did the promo, he chose not to perform to the contractual agreement.

As much crap we give Tony Schiovane and WCW for giving away WWF results especially at the night Mick Foley won the title/Fingerpoke of Doom, and they still deserve crap for that, WWF was no better.

Hornswoggle moved a lot of merch with the kids (which makes it all the surprising WWE fired him) so OC could fill the same role, though the play kicks indie ICW nonsense would have to go.
 
Orange Cassidy is a frustratingly awful gimmick. It's frankly insulting watching him in the ring and realizing this is what the booker thinks I'd enjoy as a viewer. His stupid little walk with his hands in his pockets and then light little kicks, all it makes me want to see is someone boot his shit skull off his pencil neck. Even before he gets to the ring, that "he's from... wherever, and he weighs... whatever!" schtick is so fucking lame.

If he did come to WWE, he'd need to have the James Ellsworth or Colin Delaney role of the bonafide loser who gets beat the fuck down every time, including by the female roster, and is also be relegated to NXT opening matches for life. Then and only then will he have a spot in the WWE.

The idea that he's in main event world title matches on PPV in AEW is making an even bigger joke of that company than it already is. You don't book the Rock vs. the Brooklynn Brawler for the WWF title in the Summerslam main event. Why is AEW's Gillberg headlining in competitive matches? What a joke.

History is written by the winners. RAW had plenty of PPV caliber main events, but Goldberg winning the belt on Nitro gets scrutinized to death.

I don't see it as a big deal, he seems smart enough to let HHH and people who know the wrestling business do the important creative stuff meanwhile he manages the business side of things and negotiates with companies like Netflix to get WWE on there, the worst shit people got mad at him for was releases while he was Vince's second in command but honestly if they had nothing creatively for them its just dead weight, someone needs to do the boring side and id much rather Nick Khan then someone like Andrew Wilson who lameified Electronic Arts

It certainly won't end with him going up on Mount Everest.
You don't just get to do that climb. It's tightly regulated due to the danger and costs involved.

It takes about 60 days to climb and pretty much you are looking at around $100k to do it.

On top of this, you have to train for months. It's not something where Sherpas can just carry you up.

Also, with about 200 bodies up there, it's how people map out the routes. The most famous one is probably "green boots". This was an officer from the Indian Army, part of the India-Tibet units. Literally this guy lived year round at extreme heights. It was his job to climb.
