Excuse me, WHAT?

Also for the thread, I started playing TEW2020 recently. Not great by any means, but I did a PPV to entertain myself a little.

Macho Man in the WWF during the Attitude Era, man that sounds rough.
Only if you had Savage/Owen vs DX, with Savage running down Hunter as a luggage lad loser and helping Owen beat Hunter. And Savage being the straight man to Vince's slow descent into madness as he feuds with Austin along with the running gag where Savage repeatedly threatened to have Owen break Austin's neck if he starts shit with him.

What what what? Details please!

Fuck you, you faggot piece of shit. I hope you fucking die!

Sorry, just my little tribute to a fallen autist.

Indi Hartwell, Tegan Nox and Baron Corbin are being released by WWE.

Their contracts have run down and just aren't being renewed. Can't see TK biting on any of them.

So does this mean Dexter will finally acknowledge the end of his relationship with Indi and get a haircut and shave, so he can go back to looking like Chad Sexington instead of Chad's pot addicted Phish obsessed loser brother?

Great way to spend Jim Johnston's last track, Vince & Trips.
The song wasn't an instant classic or anything, but it had more soul than Baron Corbin ever gave it.

Burn the Ships was not just a great tune to listen to, but thematically it served well for his last theme song. A warrior who burns his ships intends to never retreat, either he wins the battle or dies in a land that will never be his home.
Corbin had a lot of shit ass gimmicks, looked like garbage most of his career, and was mid as a worker. But his last tag with Bron was great. The Wolf Dogs had so much natural chemistry together and in the ring they completemented each other perfectly. I used to joke about them being Ornstein and Smough with my friends and it kinda makes sense, since the tall tubby one is now gone, and the little bruiser will be seen again and again.
I still got my Wolf Dog t-shirt and it has only seen wear as an occasional gym shit. I might put it into storage for a while so that in 5-10 years when Bron is a major deal I can bust it out as a vintage shirt from the best part of his time in training.

You have to think Corbin must of pissed off Vince backstage to get bogged down with such bad gimmicks, he tried initially to make him the top heel in the company and then gets a bunch of nonsensical gimmicks, we are for sure lucky to have Triple H now, the late 10s Vince Dementia era was worse then the mid-90s if im being perfectly honest

hoping for a Gunther win today as much as I love the Codester, Solo's team of Coconuts is probably the winners of the Six-Man Tag Match sadly, but Roman's Bloodline will get their win back at Survivor Series.

It's old, but footage has been found of George Hackenschmidt actually wrestling. Prior to this allegedly no footage of him was known to exist.

that reminds me I still need to dig around for some good footage of Tor Johnson working
last I saw he didn't have any _matches_ but he played "fighter #1" and stuff in a shitload of movies (long before he worked with Ed Wood) so there's probably at least some instances of him doing moves
the bit I saw of him in... I think it was "Alias The Champ" (the movie trying to make a star out of Gorgeous George). He moved about like you'd think

its honestly crazy to think how far wrestling has generally come, before stuff like this it was mostly circus attractions and thats what Modern Pro Wrestling evolved out of, you gotta appreciate its natural evolution
