Do wrestling “journos” just have an insatiable desire to reply to every no name person on twitter and argue constantly? Meltzer and Sapp have to be the top two most annoying faggots I see regularly on Xitter.

After months of speculation, AEW and Warner Bros. Discovery officially announced a multi-year renewal on Thursday afternoon that will keep Dynamite and Collision on TBS and TNT, respectively, in addition to a streaming component on Max.

The number of years and the amount AEW will receive per year was not announced, but Variety reported that the deal is valued at upward of $150 million per year.

Here are the highlights, first reported by The Wrap:

Dynamite and Collision will remain in their current homes and networks on both Wednesday and Saturday, respectively

Both Dynamite and Collision will stream live on Max for U.S. subscribers starting in 2025

AEW content that airs on any WBD network will also be available to stream on Max on-demand. How far back that content will go was not announced

Starting “later in 2025,” AEW and WBD will offer live PPVs on Max at a “discounted price per event” with all marketing and promotions of those PPV events exclusively centered on Max.

The new deal includes “enhanced distribution rights across social media as well as potential new AEW programming on linear and digital platforms.”

Rampage, the Friday night staple for AEW on TNT, was not mentioned in either story, leaving the future of that property unclear as of now.

They went to a commercial break, and they came back…..Braun Strowman got hit by Bronson Reed with a Samoan Drop. Braun Strowman grabbed his thigh/groin area, and then they were gonna do a spot where he knocked Bronson Reed off the apron through some chairs.

“And man, this guy [Strowman] starts running, and I knew immediately this guy’s hurt. He normally can’t run all that fast, but he couldn’t even walk the ropes…..he was limping the ropes, knocks [Reed)] off the apron and there was a long period where he just kind of laid there in the corner and the ref’s furiously communicating with the back. He may have torn his groin is what it’s looking like. We don’t have an update now. That’s certainly what they thought yesterday [Monday].”

Binning Rampage is a great idea. It's fairly pointless and is 90% squash matches that don't do anything for anyone.

Getting rid of it frees up talent for Shockwave on Fox.

I would agree with this, but wasn't Phil notorious for fucking various female wrestlers before getting with AJ? I feel like his antinatalism (and compensating with the dog) is more a result of him being a progressive.
