@Taker being a legit badass; I don't buy it. He was one of the protected guys and he was a draw who had the respect of a lot of the boys, so it gave him a mafia-type untouchable shield that no one besides freaks like Lesnar would've tried to test.

ROH became a lot better after RF was given the boot.

Between The Sheets (Bix and Kris) did a 3 part Patreon podcast on the RF/ROH scandal recently. It was interesting. RF really didn't want to give up ownership and seemed to think he did nothing wrong.

I guess that will be Shane's role. Running and writing for ROH. Maybe he can do an Invasion storyline with them using ROH and any surviving Alliance member like Lance Storm, Shawn Stasiak, Chuck Palumbo, Rhyno, RVD, Tommy Dreamer etc. Maybe Jeff Jarrett, Taz, Stevie Ray, Sid Vicious and Dustin could side with this new Alliance against AEW.

Yeah much as I liked Taker as a wee upside down former president, it's clear his sway backstage was only personality and politics. Looking back at when he appeared at Lesnar's UFC fight and said it's a "safe bet" that he would have trained in MMA too, I have to think, my ginger-nigger, you played collegiate basketball and have a hip made of glass.

Britt got a 1 or 2 week suspension and a fine.

Jacob Fatu is great though, the only member of The Bloodline that I’m excited about seeing.

His expressions are fantastic and steal the show, how he delivers on the mic, and he’s surprisingly agile for a man that size.
Tbh can’t name another current member of The Bloodline other than Solo, but that match between Cody and Solo is going to be fantastic.

Also heard there’s a whole merch storefront at Summerslam but we’ll see.
Not buying anything there but Summerslam specific stuff, Rhea Ripley shirts are $20 on Amazon, but I’m a mark and will buy event specific merchandise.

Will give an update on the crowds etc tomorrow, anticipating something nuts.
40k people added to the Cleveland metro area, feel a bit bad for people out of state that aren’t familiar with Cleveland and leave all their stuff in the car.
Wandering around downtown Cleveland at night is an adventure, but not one most people want to take.

Man I miss Umaga. Him and Yoko were rough losses and looking back at Yoko in the ring specifically, it's almost hard to watch just given how big he was. I couldn't imagine having to move around like that while being that big.

Yeah according to Cornette that one guy he Banzai dropped (we all know the one) specifically pissed off Mr.Fuji. I'm not praising the guy as a saint, but I also can't be too mad at a guy that died before 35 due to morbid obesity. If anything, he got his just desserts <-[good pun]

Agreed. He did the same thing to other jobbers, too. If it was a person on the roster, he'd go gentle (both hold the ropes and land on his feet) but if they were a no-name jobber, he'd just land on his fat ass on them. In his later years, when he wasn't as high on the roster, he'd be more careful to not injure jobbers, but when he could get away with it he'd be a total dick. Him dying of being a fat fuck is karma
