I love this suicidal monkey.

I'm ambivalent on the blood and guts match. Personally I'm not a big fan of the survivor series big team vs big team in cage match to begin with but the problem is that they really take the whole "spotfest" angle too much and their cameramen should really know better.

There was a section where Swerve was doing his big fighting spirit spot(when he was getting stapled by everyone) and during that bit Okada's just standing there, completely neutral, with the camera directly pointed at him while he politely waits for Swerve to staple all of his teammates and his turn comes up. It just looks fucking dumb. I admit I've never watched NJPW during its golden age so I don't know how good Okada is but either he's washed up or phoning it in, he should know much better.

A lot of the camerawork felt lacking especially near when Hangman showed up and Swerve was still cuffed to the outside, like they'd constantly cut the angle two seconds too late and it would lose the impact of something like Swerve finally getting into the ring because he's already inside, or some spots were just completely missed.

Finally the whole thing feels choreographed wrong. Like the way I understand if the entire team loses if some guy is submitted or surrenders. So the bucks waste all of this time on an extremely retarded and forced table(it's like a regular table spot but with FOUR TABLES STACKED ON TOP OF EACH OTHER!) while Perry's getting clobbered the entire time, no one goes to save him or assist him or anything and that felt like the whole match, "teams" never really came into play here it was just someone's turn to do their big spot of the match and then they'd go into stasis. Survivor Series also does this but not this blatantly.

When they talk about the "Plliars of AEW" he's always the guy that i see as being above the rest of them for his commitment to the outsider/fringe aspect of the company. He's a fucking idiotic lunatic who may be an even bigger nutcase than Jeff Hardy because he's straight edge. He's doing all this shit with no booze or pills. I know skateboarders are a special kind of retard but he takes the fucking biscuit.

Everything is 100mph with him. The first time i realised he was utterly fucking crazy was the time he missed the Coffin Drop against Cody on the apron. I was watching that match with a buddy and both of us were speechless after that spot.

Is Perry's new gimmick "guy who will cripple himself to show he's REAL" or something? We already have one of those in Darby.

Nobody knows how to give a chair shot anymore, they just swing for the fences and concuss each other. That leads to the absolutely brain dead and immersion breaking spots where a guy grabs a chair and just weakly shoves it into the other guy's midsection. Just get rid of chairs if you can't use them without it looking completely illogical.

I'm just about inclined to agree tbh. My brain is hardwired to see a chair and presume shot to the head. It completely breaks my immersion every single time I see the mid section>shot to the back combo or the standard shot to the back. You mean to tell me wrestler x and wrestler y are in a blood feud, hate each other's guts so much that they want to inflict maximum pain and possibly end a career... but it's a bridge too far to bonk em? The only believable instance in recent memory that springs to mind is Sami turning on Roman at the Rumble. I'm sure you all can point out other instances where it worked but that one stands out for me.

Either loosen the chains a bit and allow a shot to the head every once in a blue moon or drastically cut back on chair shots in general. I'm almost as bored at this point of chairs as I am of kendo sticks. And if you do allow a headshot, run through the motions beforehand so these retards don't injure each other for real.

The only wrestlers who should be taking shots to the back with chairs are monsters like masked Kane who will no sell it and then destroy the poor sap who dared to try attacking them.

The era of chair shots are gone and don't need to come back. Be more creative or revisit the idea of using "metal" chairs with softer metals that won't cause concussions.

Kenny has been rumored to be with both Shida and Riho but it may simply be a thing that he's fluent in Japanese, likes Joshi wrestling and they don't speak a whole lot of English so he's probably one of the few people that chats to them backstage.
If Kenny isn't gay I am Santa Clause

She sure was. She sabotaged women's wrestling the 1980s WWF, which lead to no one giving a shit when it came back for a few years, then when it came back it was just complete shitty until very recently.

Recently ? Have you been watching the matches WWE has been doing with the women's division? I'd rather watch a dog turd dry white than sit through another women's match. They're glorified gymnasts except for a few very talented individuals. The fact that Rhea Ripley is in the same division as fucking Naomi is ridiculous.

Women's wrestling is hard to get right. This is a male dominated form of entertainment, both in performers and fans. If it isn't a bra and panties match, no one gives a flying pig's dick about it. The Attitude and Ruthless Aggression eras completely ruined female wrestling. Give them all the catch phrases and glitzy entrances you want, but not one is investing themselves in this division seriously. And that makes me sad because, as I said, there is genuine talent that can work multiple facets of this business very well. They just have to deal with being neck deep in troglodyte shit.

So with Vince gone, is there any chance Sid V makes it into the HoF?

I think he will. Right now, WWE is focusing on reinventing their brand. I think by this time next year, you'll see more major reforms and the righting of many wrongs because of Vince.

Jesus Christ this is top tier heel work from McIntyre. I swear, this better get feud of the year.

It's pretty much an open secret that Kenny is bi.

Also, I'm beginning to think that Drew Mc might actually think Punk is a complete and utter bitch. Two completely different career paths and a hard worker might not have a whole lot of time for the hypocrite who whinged his way to where he is today.

Punk supposedly has been trying to renegotiate his current WWE deal into a lifetime thing and is also trying to get his missus back in the company. So much for the place that "got him sick".

Wrestling in general has suffered from an obsession with "doing moves", but I think women's wrestling has especially suffered by not taking advantage of psychology/drama in favor of doing terrible gymnastics routines. Britt Baker is a prime example of this. She does tons of moves, but has no real character or personality outside of "dentist lady".

I like Britt a lot because she has consistently improved through her time in AEW but you are 100% correct on her in ring style. It's all just showing off that she puts the reps in.

There's a reason that every time Riho has a match the audience is fully engaged. She understands how to play the undersized underdog perfectly. To this day one of the biggest crowd reactions AEW has had was Riho beating Nyla for the title. It's genuinely one of my favourite matches of all time because the dynamic was perfect.

Vince no longer being there probably helps with that dynamic.
I vaguely remember Punk particularly singling Hunter as the one that made sure Punk got fired on his "wedding day" (ignoring that he hadn't shown up to work in a long time and that any job will do that, not just WWE.)

Of course, this is also the guy with an abcess the size of a softball that magically hides under his showgirl trunks, so what do I know?

He also pointed out that it was hunter that pissed him off with trying to do a mid card match at mania 30 with Paul and blamed him & Shawn for "holding him down" back in 06-07. He seemed to got along with Vince outside of asking him to come back to do a live tour during his hiatus & not letting him main event a mania.
