In other news, Dynamite got 795k and 0.27 P18-49 last night, which is the highest rating since April 10th.
It's still down year-over-year, but they're actually building upward momentum now. Very good sign for them even if they have a ways to go to get back what they once had.

They'll blow it, don't worry. The Bucks and Jack Perry are ratings killers

Hulkster really did a magnificent job. If Trump loses this election, we can safely say the system is rigged and America can be nuked off the face of the Earth.
But in all seriousness, I am 100% convinced Vince is involved in this somehow. If not directly, some old WWE heads are absolutely helping with production. I'm almost willing to put money down on the former though. Absolutely on the latter.

Tk i love you man but why are you Booking Mercedes against that faggot nyla on dynamite 250 you fucking sped
Nyla has had (including this show) three appearances on AEW programming in the past year, mostly assigned as mid-card monster work on ROH. I think it's safe to say Khan wants the troon gone and thought having Mercedes go over a former champion (disgusting Rose ever was) to make a statement. The hairline on Nyla is getting worse too, with that bandana getting higher by the week.

Rhea was a cutie.
Rhea only got pushed because she decided to take T and become a low-rent Chyna in NXT. Hunter's taste in women is obvious as day (muscles, leather and spikes) when he kept pushing the leather couch looking lass Zoey Stark non=stop in NXT. Even to the point in putting her in a team with Skye to try and consume her hype. Had Rhea kept her traditional looks, she'd be teaming with Tegan Fox on Main Event or working in AEW right now.

HBK taking the reigns of NXT has actually provided us a healthy variety of women. Sadly on the mens side, HBK has a thing for pushing black guys who's entire personality is being happy-go-lucky dude who befriends other black fella who wants the title. Wes Lee has shown more personality with the Rascalz appearing these past two weeks than he has his entire North American title run.

What a fucking clown.

How many times is he going to do this surpass the limit of the stars bullshit he seems to do? It was understandable if it was a one time thing when he did it with the first Okada vs Omega, but now he does this and makes him look like a moron.

How many towels he needed for this match?

I have to see the match for myself, but so far, I feel Ospreay is hella overrated. I recall his return match against Takeshita and thought it was decent. There were a couple cool spots, but it dragged on longer than it had to. I really think kicking out of a machine gun sweep, a grenade, and an atom bomb really ruins the match simply because once credibility leaves the match, the thought of "oh right this is fake who cares who wins" is allowed to enter the mind and it doesn't leave until the match ends.

There are cases, albeit rare cases, where the "kick out of literally anything" spots can work, but I can't help but feel that there has to be a particular setup, stakes on the line, or location for it to work. I'm not a booker so I don't really know what the proper recipe is for this. All I know is that I felt it worked at WrestleMania this year and Sting's retirement match.

AEW has some outstanding matches from time to time, but there's instances where I must ask, "What makes a good match"? I remember the Iron Man match between Bullet Club and FTR about a year ago being outstanding, but was it the booking? the story? the moves? the spots? the pacing and believability? I don't really know.

Perry was pretty good in his NJPW run.

That's because he didn't talk much. The guy is good in the ring and plays his characters well but he is still bingo-hall indie level when it comes to cutting a promo.

A good few guys in AEW are like this. It's honestly something you are either a natural at or you go the WWE route of essentially getting straight up acting lessons at the PC.
