It occurred to me that a potential final opponent for John Cena could be the Miz. Both have a win against the other at WM, so this could be the rubber match. Miz works best as a heel and the promos could bring up how Miz was overshadowed by the Rock/Cena feud along with Cena's post-match proposal to then-girlfriend Nikki Bella.

Just listen to him on Youtube. The podcasts all have like two hours of bullshit and an hour or an hour and a half of stuff worth listening to. You can put what you want to listen to in a queue and not listen to Jim talk about his trip to the post office and how republicans walked on his lawn.

I legit think WWE is going to buy into TNA and keep it running independently as a feeder to NXT and a place to send guys to season them. Kind of like OVW.

I think everything hinges on whether they finally pull the trigger on him in Slammiversary, or if TNA pulls off one last LOLTNA moment to really outdo every other LOLTNA moment.

He's getting cheered louder than anyone else has been cheered since the Hogan-Bischoff TNA.

Miz wasn't overshadowed; hell, Rock even cut a famous promo declaring Miz a legit threat and Cena a goofy little kid cosplay wrestler. And a case can be made that said feud MADE Miz's career.
 
The weird thing about Joe Hendry is that even beyond the theme song and most likely all the youtube recommendations you've gotten for his ICW song parodies, the man can both cut a decent promo and has some really cool moves like a one handed chokeslam.
I think if Cody wasn't around, WWE would have probably poached Joe Hendry and pushed him to the moon. Or maybe it's just the smaller, more "in" crowds at NXT/TNA popping for their heroes and I'm overestimating how much the bigger crowds believe in Hendry.

I'll watch him if he slants his eyes, puts in some buck teeth, and talks in an offensive Chinese (or really any sort of amalgamation of Oriental) accent. Otherwise, hard pass on both the Pauls forever and ever amen.
