Not sure about that one, brother. If Solo is dead set on regaining the Universal belt for the Bloodline, then pinning Cody was an important step. It plants a seed of doubt for the audience that, even with help, Cody can't beat this new Bloodline. Granted, it wasn't CLEAN, but Cody still took the pin. So now we are left to wonder if the magic of Cody Rhodes has begun to wear away.

Make no doubt about it: Solo Sikoa, the Tongas, and Jacob Fatu are going to be the dominant force until Roman comes back.
 
Can't believe cena is retiring. He was my equivalent to a "Hogan" when I was a kid. Collected a ton of his figures & merch. He was an idol for young trolli.

I got legit misty and I’ve only been watching since 2019. Can’t imagine what it must be like for 20 year Chain Gang Soldiers.
 
With Cena it's probably more legit, considering he was basically retired until that Hollywood strike last year. (This year? Don't remember/care.) But generally, in wrestling you can't take retirement announcements too seriously.

I think his is more legitimate. It's not like he took a 5 or 10 year break like punk, edge Shawn & the rock. I think careers like cena they tend to retire permanently. I do expect maybe occasional attitude adjustment spots for mania 45 & 50 though.

WrestleMania in Vegas will be massive with both Cena and Rock competeing, if I were HHH id do Cena/Orton on Night 1 and Roman/Rock on Night 2 a double-header and you can also put the world title matches as the Co-Main Event, i imagine Gunther will be defending the World Title against whoever wins the Rumble and Cody will probably defend the WWE title against either Rollins or Punk.

The bizarre thing is that a few of them also show up ringside for AEW and NJPW shows regularly.

It's a full time job and they must travel more for wrestling than the actual wrestlers. You have to wonder where they get the money for it.

Sounds a lot like Brian Last in his early fan days traveling from show to show in the 90s... probably independently wealthy with an excess of leisure time...or they're just blowing what little cash they do have on being a "super fan".

probably family members that are wealthy giving them money so they shut up about wrestling (kinda like Tony Khan actually), Ive been to live shows before but never outside of my own state, I could've taken a train out of state to Mania this year for one-night but at that point its easier to watch it at home given its now a 2-night event.

His gimmick is he’s angry with a towel on his head, lately a suit though so he’s angry but in a suit.
Roman had so much dimension and characterization as Tribal Chief comparatively.

And call me a niggerfaggot, but was mouth open in shock about Cena.
He’s a little younger than the Rock I’m sure, but he’s off to be Hollywood Cena.

The shirt is also hysterical, probably going to pick one up next time there’s a super sale.

I can understand that criticism in that its more generic then Roman, the wider storyline is that Solo is more unhinged and prone to being violent when challenged in comparison to Roman, there was a couple of times where Roman had to hold Solo back from attacking whoever they were feuding with at the time, and now without Roman to control him, Solo is now more violent and thuggish in contrast to Roman who was more chill even when the fans hated him.

Have to admit the thought of Roman coming back at Summerslam is intensely exciting, would be beyond spoiled if that happened.
Plus strongly betting on Rhea coming back to smash the Liv Morgan revenge tour and give Dom la chancla for not discouraging Liv more.

The storyline there is great and Liv is such a crazy bitch heel that she won me over.
