Why does every diva in this company still have the exact same catty bitch personality? I thought the "women's revolution" changed that.
NXT actually has a lot of variety in their Divas, so there is a lot of variety in personalities there. But like half the matches are pissbreaks so it would be really weird it they didn't have different personalities. I'm a big fan of Thea Hale whose personality is basically "based retard."

I hope McIntire ends up fucking up Punks shit.
I don't think he has signed a new contract yet so it will be interesting to see where his booking goes as they try to decide how much WWE thinks Drew is worth and how they are going to appease him.

Good show to be honest. Sadly despite WWE improving a lot in the last year or so they still have one show a week shit a brick. Either Raw is great and Smack is garbage or vice versa.

Ngl, Drew deciding to stiff the ever living fuck out of Punk on his way out if contract talks fall through would be pretty based.

Unfortunately with Punk seemingly being made of glass, he's more likely to take himself out jus walking o the ring these days...

Main event tonight was meh. A fatal four way for a #1 contender spot without building up 3 of the 4 participants isn't a good book. Jey Uso should have had more spots if they're seriously considering putting him into main events in the future. Ricochet is a faggot overseller that I can't take seriously in any degree. Bronson Reed is the typical big meaty man slapping meat that Vince loved, but I do think he's got potential for a high mid card booking. I'd like to see him work more technical matches instead of being a fat strongman presence. Drew deserves a new contract. He's doing some top tier work with his current angle and the feud with Punk could make for some great matches, assuming Punk stays healthy.

Promos tonight were good. Enjoyed the opening and the Cody-Rock segment. I'm so fucking curious as to what Rock handed to Cody at the end and it has been killing me ever since.

I do hope there is a "payoff" for what Rock handed him eventually and it doesn't just disappear like Shane's lockbox or the fucking egg.

Holy shit that is a packed house. It is absolutely wild to think that just before Cody returned WWE was pulling in 2-3000 for an episode of Raw, now it is just monstrously huge hyped crowds every single week. It feels so strange.

Where's the retard who said people don't care about Cody, lmao.

Even I'm actually surprised at how much of a response he's getting.

@Leaf Wage Slave Jr , real glass?

Looks like the universal title is getting quietly retired and we're getting a new wwe title just like the IC title
Where'd you get that idea from? The picture just shows the old WWWF belt that Dusty wanted to win/should've won/wasn't good enough to win/whatever and the current WWE Championship belt, implying that now Cody has finished accomplishing his dad's in-ring goal and can go on to be his own man and write the next chapters for himself.

They love that retarded design too much to drop it, and zoomers generally don't like the smaller belts of yesteryear.

That's a part of Cody's "story" he leaves out. Dusty wasn't going to get anywhere near the WWWF championship, because he (Vince Sr.) knew (via Eddie Graham, Florida promoter) that if Dusty was allowed to worm his way into a position of power there (in this case being the champion) he was going to eventually demand booking control (and part of the office), or somehow screw over Vince Sr. if he didn't get it. Vince the elder had enough shit with uppity champions with Bruno and his demands. Hence he (Vince Sr.) brought in Bob Backlund, an "All American", Jack Brisco type, who would have appeal beyond the ethnic crowd (Vince Sr. was expanding into the suburbs of the states he controlled), and more importantly, wasn't going to question paydays and booking.

If Dusty had been WWF champion, then had his demands met, look at the fall of JCP in the late 80's. That was largely Dusty's doing with his obsessive "Dusty finishes" and his ego biting off much more than it could chew financially. Dusty did great for a few years running the show there, but it was largely him, that sealed the fate of Jim Crockett Promotions.

Cody vs Roman was a huge clusterfuck, but I think that's what everyone expected and wanted, and it was probably what it needed to be. It was very well done. My only critique is I think Austin coming out and giving Rock the stunner would have been more meaningful than Taker given how many Mania matches he and the Rock have had together. However, Austin probably flat out didn't want to do it, so it's not necessarily WWE's fault.

At first I thought it was a matter of Austin's age, until I remembered his ECW run began with a promo where he did an unflattering impression of Dusty Rhodes and made it clear he blamed him for being booked poorly in WCW. Reminiscent of refusing to work with Jeff Jarrett back in the Attitude Era because Jeff's father paid like shit and Jeff allegedly mocked Austin as he once stared at his check in disbelief.

Cody had said as much in recent interviews and with all the new era talk some belt redesigns are generally in order especially the tag belts and the wwe title
