Rumor floating around is that Roman got told that he's dropping the belt and Rock basically siding with Hunter after Hunter out-Game of Thrones played him and sacrificing Roman and his title reign so he can save political capital with TKO to oust Hunter down the line, since doing so over saving Roman's title run would be disastrous PR wise.

As such Roman is pouting and refusing to do anything but the bare minimum to promote the feud (like he did last time) and forcing Rock to do the heavy lifting, out of spite. And probably doctor shopping to find someone who will fake a Covid diagnosis or that his cancer has flared up again so he can no show Mania in a pathetic bid to kneecap Cody by denying him a proper coronation and kneecap his entire title run by forcing Hunter to just hand him the belt while Rock ominously hovers over Hunter to keep him from publicly denouncing Roman as a cowardly little crybaby while doing so.

There's 5,000 people in that arena. New Japan's average attendance last year was 1,700. I really don't understand why AEW thinks having one side filled and the other side completely empty looks better than even distribution on both sides.

Kahn is retarded and all that, but I never understood the appeal of Strictly Business. It's cool to hear Bischoff spill the dirt on behind the scenes stuff that happened in AWA/WCW/WWE/TNA when he was involved. Beyond that, I don't know why anyone would care what Bischoff has to say. It's not like he's funny like Cornette or Prichard or has this great insight or anything.

He shits on something. Thats all it takes. Doesn't matter which fed, or style, or era, or even wrestler/s they shit on, as long as they are negative about something people will come. Its no different to game reviewers, the big ones have something they shit on. Yatzhe did it all the time, AngryJoe has that as his whole act.

But in the world of tubershit, being negative is an easy way to get ahead. More so if you are good at it.
 
Tony has to negotiate a new TV deal this year with ratings stagnant so maybe making an idiot of yourself arguing on the internet with podcasters who you have previously had on your show isn't a great idea..

And 2022 marks 20 years since The Plane Ride From Hell
