Why should I believe this faggot now?
These dudes have ruined all credibility even if you want to believe they are in on it. Just wrong to such an extreme that even political "journalists" would cringe. You would get better info from a /pw/ thread.

Excited for Dave to say "plans change etc that will be $12.99"

They're 100% getting worked, if I had to wager a guess this is going to feed into a match for Royal Rumble, possibly extending all the way to Mania. Even the footage of Seth being "shoot" mad is laughable, he's getting held back by fucking Michael Cole of all people, if he were seriously pissed and wanting to beat the shit out of Phil, he'd easily be able to get around Cole and Graves.

Sounds like Cody's going to take a few more years to finish the story. Would almost be worth watching the Saudi shows to watch Punk having to walk out smiling to everyone.

I'm lost as to why they'd bring him back but pulling it off without ruining Orton's eeturn is hella good booking.
On a side note, anyone thinking Orton will be Punk's first feud back? They are supposed to be super close and their characters do have a long unresolved blood feud that Hunter can revive to keep Punk quarantined until he can maneuver Roman into dropping the belt to someone/anyone at Mania this year.

mfw waiting for Tony's inevitable Twitter meltdown
View attachment 5522213
I'm waiting for Tony to go full Foxcatcher and just straight up MURDER the Bucks like Dupont did that one wrestler who displeased him/rejected his sexual advances.

I honestly didn't think Punk would go back to WWE. Mostly because I didn't think WWE needed him.

But I'm here for it. Can't wait to see how he shoots himself in the foot this time around. Also can't wait to see the autistic tantrum Tony is going to throw. He has to be butthurt over this, lmao.

I could see Seth's reaction as being legit -- I think he has a chip on his shoulder cos Punk was in full 'locker room leader' mode and seemed to want to take credit for the Shield. Dude doesn't like him, but he's also enough of a pro to fucking know a) people are watching b) people with their phones are watching c) the Internet exists.

Of course, we were also gifted with Punk candidly dropping homophobic slurs, so maybe it was a bit of the mask slipping.

I'm guessing they're gonna use Punk to basically eject Cody out of the whole Judgement Day spat and have him continue on with Roman, probably with a mini-program with Orton for the next PPV or whatever cos Orton doesn't stay face for very long.

CM 'Glass Bones' Punk could be slotted into random tag matches and shit vs. Judgement Day. Which plays to the fact that he's a broken down grey hair and WWE can hedge their bets in case he gets injured or throws a tantrum again.

I think Cody will be fine. Punk vs Ramon doesn't need a title and I doubt we will see them on TV until Smackdown leaves fox because fox personally requested Roman to stay while USA wanted Cody.

Bringing back Punk when he has recently shown that he still hasn't gotten over himself is the dumbest thing imaginable.

They'll shift a bunch of t-shirts but he'll be gone within a year and will spend most of it injured anyway.

Punk fucking up His second second chance Will be fun as fuck to follow. Dude already lost His balls when he returned to that shitty Fox reaction show thatnobody watched yo "change the culture" lmao
Tk you fucking retard start running AEW like a legit company.

Also Seth reaction was a fucking work, even if it wasn't they have 48 hours to make it work. Wrestling dirtsheets who hadnt the Scoop nos totally know whats happening in the back with the Boys.

So what are the options for Punk feud-wise?

1. Randy Orton: Punk is friends with Orton and they do have some history feuding-wise. But would Hunter want to waste Randy on what could be his last run on Punk?

2. Dexter Lumis: Currently lost at sea with Hunter reuniting Team DIY and people have complained in the past that Dexter is a better heel than face. Maybe turn Dexter heel and have him go after Punk as a piss test, since Dexter is a pet project of Hunter's and Hunter expecting Punk to elevate Dexter as a test for him being a team player?

3. Nakamura: for the workrate crowd, though would anyone really want this?

4. Finn Balor: Because Finn's a pin me, pay me jobber at this point.

Being an adult and not fucking it up

Add Drew McIntyre to the "work or shoot" list.
Drew McIntyre stormed out of the ring after the end of the Wargames match that closed Survivor Series.

PWInsider.com is told that McIntyre stormed into the back, slammed his locker room door, threw on a Hoodie and immediately left the Allstate Arena.

We are told that it was obvious to everyone that McIntyre was angry, but no word yet as to why. It was such a loud and obvious situation that a lot of people witnessed it and it's become a subject of conversation over the last hour.

So Collision wasn't that good. Best matches were the Keith Lee vs Lee Moriarty and Kingston vs Brodie King (Kngston should wear a belt, maybe than he wont show his teal boxers). By than the crowd started to care about the show, before that you could hear a pin drop. Nice to see Lady Frost there, but of course Tony used her as a jobber. The promo Black gave to FTR was fun since they called out on how they always need to be around people (Phil) or get saved (Yuta). Pretty much buries them if they leave because the "best tag team in the world" shouldn't need others. Camera angles throughout the show showed that they at least had people on both sides of the show.

Rampage was okay, Wasn't a fan on how Yuta won. Hook vs Romero was pretty good. Statlander match was terrible as was the tag match, though at least the Statlander match may lead into a trios match Ronda? (God I don't believe I said that).

Over on WWE, can't really say I'm shocked to see Phil there. They did a terrible job hiding the fact they were in talks when that was what they claimed they were doing. The way they're tard wrangling him is that he's on a Brock Lesner deal for 4-5 years. Basically they want to keep him out of the locker as much as possible.

Drew doesn't seem to be very happy after the end of Survivor Series. Neither was Seth Rollins.

Walter vs Miz and Dragon Lee vs Escobar matches were decent, really didn't want Lee to use. I was hopping they'd be better. They were only two matches I cared about. The Survivor teams that should have won lost, though at least when it comes to the women's team it was Bayley took the pin so least it fuels that storyline.

You couldn't tell by his Twitter, last thing he sent out was about the main event at rampage and thanking the fans for watching.
all 200k of them, that's nice of him.

Per Dave:
  • It's a multi-year deal
  • Deal was finalized about 8 days ago, nobody knew except Triple H, Nick Khan, and a couple of others, that includes the higher ups at TKO/Endeavor
  • Talent was informed about his return shortly before the main event
  • Seth reaction was 100% a work
  • Drew McIntyre thing was legit, left the building in a huff right after getting backstage, unclear if he was upset over Punk or if it's not related

I heard it's 4-5 years instead of the 3-4 they've been doing lately.
I don't think it's Phil directly, just the money spent and how he'll just be overlooked more. He still hasn't resigned and his deal is up in April.

This. This is fucking Shakespearean now. Well done Tony.
Tripple H called the Punk situation "a lightning in the bottle than came together very quickly" at the media scrum. Sounds like they were very quickly in the talks after he got fired from AEW.
It does seem like Nipple H and Cuck Man had an honest man's talk with each other before the PPV and sorted things out like men. Or at the very least agreed to do what was best for business.
Is Punk the DSP of wrestling? Fucker keeps coming back.

Wait, they are both named Phil…
I've always said Cuck Man looks like a skinnier DSP.
Main event of tonight's Collision was Eddie Kingston vs Brody King. Fucking lol.
Imagine Tony Khan emmerging from his mountain of cocaine. He has the best most heckin valid idea ever! Double feature of his B and C shows going up against a WWE PPV. This will kill the E-drone!
Who's that in the gray suit?

Seth's probably just selling but it would be really funny if he actually had been surprised by this.

I'm gonna be so mad if they give Seth's title to Punk after having Nakamura lose to him twice.
I suspect either Drew or Seth are going to be the ones to trigger Punk into another seething shoot if it's not a work.
punk needs to throw the aew belt in the trash
Absolute gigga dimes but that would validate AEW in a way whomever is actually in charge of WWE wouldn't want.
They will just cut out that part and just show him yelling and pointing while being held back. If you don't think the cameraman was set up just for this reaction you are worked bigtime these dudes are professionals.

Not that being worked is a bad thing kayfabe is fantastic but Seth ain't stupid and he knows this is just a $$$$ feud for him so even if he didn't know about CM chud coming back he knows this sort of reaction is what he needs to do.
I just want to believe in it for a bit. If it's a worked shoot or otherwise part of a storyline that would be cool and I'll keep watching. If they're doing a worked shoot version of what happened at AEW with Drew, Seth and Cuck Man that could either go really well or really badly.
That RKO off the cage to the Mick Manlet was kino. Randy deserves one more good run. Maybe a program with LA Knight?
That entire Wargames match had great spots overall. Stuff that actually told a story and was shocking. As opposed to spot monkeys wanking off to half empty arenas. I loved the bit with Cody, Seth, and the rope. I think we're getting Cody versus Seth for the honour of being "Dusty's Boy" soon.
I am so hyped for the Royal Rumble especially since I'll be going in person.

With Randy and Punk back the 30 man roster will be fucking stacked. They'll probably have to move some guys into undercard matches but you could easily have Cody, Rollins, Gunther, LA Knight, Priest, Balor, Jey Uso, Randy, Punk, and McIntyre. That's 1/3rd of a Rumble Roster of just A list dudes. It's gonna be lit.
You're absolutely right. I've said this before but I'll say it again. The Attitude Era worked because they had multiple top tier guys. WWE has always had this problem of needing a Number 1 guy whilst everyone else languishes. When if you have a roster full of top talent every match has the potential for success, every storyline is exciting, and anything can happen because everyone has equal focus.

Yeah the guy who was worked by his sources into thinking Cuck Man wasn't coming back is one hundred percent certain that what Seth did was a work And what Drew did wasn't. Why are we listening to Meltyass again?

I'm not saying Seth isn't working. I'm saying Meltzer needs to shut the fuck up because he's not as knowledgeable as he thinks he is.

wrestling is fun again. I was a kid during the Monday night wars but last night was the most fun I had with a show in years. Cocaine Tony must be calling the spirit of Herb Abrams
right now to guide him through this shit show.
