whats so hard about book the feuds around the fucking belts, thats what aew year 1 was all about
There was a comment on cagesideseats that actually made sense, AEW felt fresh when it was about competition, winning and losing mattered, belts were being chased, feuds grew organically out of the belts being chased

Then they brought in even more ex WWE people, everything became WWE lite, without the structure of 'in ring competition drives the storylines' Tony's coke fueled incoherence became dominant, and here we are

Seth vs sami for the world title.

Judgment day vs cody, Seth, sami & jey at wargames.

That's kind of what got me into watching AEW in the first place, the belts felt like they meant something since there were usually feuds surrounding them as you said. The Hangman Adam Page/Elite storyline went on in the background from the start of the company until Hangman won the belt off Omega at Full Gear 2021. Now it does feel like a lite version of WWE, there is no real structure to anything, people challenge for belts, they lose and then the next random person comes in and rinse and repeat until a PPV is coming and they try to slap a feud together in 2 weeks. Then on top of it adding even more belts that are worthless and have nothing going on with them. I have lost pretty much all interest in AEW and I typically just read the results and watch clips instead of sitting through a whole episode anymore. Adding Rampage and Collision to the mix on top of a bunch of ex WWE guys was a big mistake in itself. I like storylines that get me amped up to watch a match, throwing random people who I might even like into a match for the hell of it doesn't interest me.

Is the Mankind/Undertaker Hell in a Cell the Attitude Era equivalent of Hogan body slamming Andre? I'm not fishing for ratings but I'm curious.

The more I listen to Corny's pods the more I wonder why Brian Last is even on them. He doesn't contribute anything and it seems like he hasn't even watched half the shows that Jim is reviewing so when Corny throws over to him for his thoughts he just has nothing. When he does have a thought on something it's the most brain dead shit ever or something that's been repeated a million times. Get a new cohost!

I'm pretty sure Brian is Cornys version of an OBS slave in the audio sense. Does all the soundboarding, editing, uploading....ect...ect...

The taz put out an article about AEW. taz is a very left-winged news outlet here. Haven't seen any mainstream newsoutlet writing about wrestling for years if it was not bc of the death of some big name like Anoki.
