That’s a bit far for me. I’ve got my complaints about his current storylines but he’s in good shape, so I’ll give credit where credit is due.

With that being said, Impact EC3 >> any incarnation of MJF and that’s not even me being a hater, that’s just the facts. I was tuning out of watching impact around his debut, but even then I loved his stuff with Rockstar Spud. I don’t give into fed bad too often, but he’s definitely a guy I’ll say was squandered in WWE, and it’s odd because on paper he was a perfect fit for the company. Reasonably young, charismatic, in shape, a good talker and good in the ring. I don’t know why he didn’t work out.

I’ve been on the NWA train since the 10 pounds of gold revival with Tim Storm. Billy has quietly built himself quite a little roster. Some of the ex WWE and TNA castoffs are hit and miss for me, (Tyrus was pretty bad) but his Moneyball approach with people like Thrillbilly, Kerry Morton, Pretty Empowered, etc has been exciting. Low key, NWA’s women’s division IMO blows away most promotions.

It isn’t completely focused on work rate, but there are some occasional low key bangers that make sense within the stories Billy is trying to tell.

Only when it suits him that MJF mentions that he's Jewish and that's for major storylines. Rich asshole heel has been done to death so it's nice getting another layer to it.

On one hand, I’d laugh if Drew wound up in AEW.

On the other hand, I wouldn’t mind seeing Drew get paid.

On the realistic hand, he probably had some days off and went “Fuck it why not”. Least all the empty seats around him means they wouldn’t show him on TV, unlike… whichever chucklefucks WWE got pissed at for being in the crowd for a TNA taping back in the day.
