But why would you put that match on Collision? If you're going to use your top guys, especially for the first time, you'd at least want build-up. That's worth a match on Dynamite or a build-up to a match on Collision.
It would have gotten better views if Tony knew how to advertise shit. He always does this. One week builds and refuses to promote the shows a head of time in the city they're going to. As I mentioned earlier, people tend to only know about a show going to their city if they mention it on one of their shows. WWE you'll know at least a month in advance, sometimes two.

I don't mind AEW existing - it gives people WWE cuts somewhere to work and still get TV time, plus whatever they can milk out of the money mark - but everything thats happened with them has made me glad I stopped watching and found the channel Impact wound up on again. As is, I'm just waiting for the inevitable meltdown from Tony Khan if/when he loses his spot as the Number 2 Wrestling Company in America - say what we will about the man, without AEW he'd just be some billionaire's cokehead kid, this is much more entertaining.

I've been seeing the shift. Every time I see him give WWE the faintest praise, or AEW the mildest criticism I see more people calling him a "kike traitor" and speculating on how much Endeavor is paying him. Dave can just mention the objective drop in viewership an AEW show had and I will see people start seething about him online. The latest conspiracy I have seen is that Levesque is a crypto-jewish name of French origins, and now that Paul is control of WWE Dave is slowly backing off of his support of AEW to help his fellow tribesman. According to these people the only reason MJF is still champion when Omega should have gone over is that Tony is being pressured into keeping the title on MJF to please Dave and so that he doesn't start burying the promotion.

DDP never once used his Jewishness as an angle and he was one of the most over faces WCW had. The guy was just a natural babyface with an inspirational story that didn't need to cry about how set upon he was by the world to get the audience on his side. Hell, I remember a TMZ on the streets interview from years ago where just straight out said he should have pushed the Jewish angle in WCW because it meant he would have gotten a megapush instead of busting his ass off getting himself over organically.
