Man, Idk how I feel about Kick as a platform anymore. We’ve had a nigga tortured to death and one nearly beat to death within the span of a week. It’s getting out of hand.

How on earth is Kick responsible for this? Are we going to Karen to the point where it's just as restrictive as Youtube? How about we keep the blame where it belongs: on retarded people behaving badly.

There's a lot of talk about how Raja Jackson is a retarded thug who knows nothing about wrestling, which lead to his later chimping out. Fair enough, honestly, but I must ask one question, especially to those who are visiting who don't know anything much about wrestling.

Have you ever heard of 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin?

You know, that dude who would fuck people up and then drink a beer? Sometimes fucking them up with said beer?

Now, I may be biased because I do watch wrestling, but, I believe if you've so much as heard of wrestling, especially in the states, and you are *on camera* getting *lightly tapped* on the head with a beer by a *wrestler* at a *wrestling show*, it wouldn't take much to understand that something *fake* and *wrestling related* is occuring. Especially when they invite you into the show proper to follow up on said fake wrestling thing.

The dumbest nigger could figure this out.
The DUMBEST NIGGER could figure this out.

Everything was apparently streamed on Kick.
Literally what the fuck was that? I’m not a wrestling guy but I’ve never seen anything like that. Those repeated head punches were not part of any sort of script or planned or expected in any way. That’s fucking nuts. That is straight up getting jumped in the hood types of head strikes. If that was planned or coordinated in any way it’s really really convincing as real.

IWGP title in the middle of the card against a commentator lol.

Nigel hasn't won a singles match since 2011 and they tried to say it's hard to get an IWGP title shot.

so Nigel loses the IWGP title match, Daniel Garcia has no part in the finish. They send in Skeevone looking like he might interview Nigel, Nigel and Danny get in his way and do like a handshake or something and then they just leave, no interview, no turn, and Tony just then announces the attendance record as they leave????
why did they use the post match of the IWGP title match to immediately go to the attendance announcement? Was Schivone just in the ring early??? AEW is so confusing sometimes.

this was a legit head stomp not fake. You know when they fake it by stamping on the mat by the guy's head. In this case it seems like an actual shoot stomp out.

MMA was better when people didn't know what they were doing. Nobody wants to watch current MMA which is just generic Chechen grappler #1 VS generic Georgian grappler #2. Boxing is more interesting these days.
Plus those guys are just boring. Khabib was only a draw because he was undefeated. If he had lost a few times, no one would've cared. No one has personality these days

New Jack was actually a worker. He would at least try to work with you until you did something stupid.

Raja didn’t even bother to work. He was upset about how he was treated over an angle, and decided to try and commit a near homicide over it without any prior notice.

New Jack > Raja

After months of rumors that hurt syndicate won’t lose to FTR they’ve been attacked by ricochet and his faction and taken out of the match, brawled to the back lol. and Bandido and Brody win the tag belts in a botched finish where the ref counted to 2 stopped then counted to 3. So to all of the motherfuckers who tried to say the MVP Speedball video answered everything, I’m more confused then ever.

I don't want to victim blame because this is one hundred percent on Raja, but what the fuck are they teaching the wrestlers at this supposed wrestling academy when their method of a skirmish with an outsider is to let him get a receipt?! That shit would NEVER happen in the old school days of wrestling. Like take this incident for example:
Imagine if in response to being shoved by a wrestler, Cowboy Bob Orton (who isn't the booker) invites the drunkard to their next show and encourages him to take a cheap shot at Terry Gordy to get his "receipt." That's not how this shit works. In the old days, one of three things would've happened:

1. Syko would be be reprimanded for breaking character on camera for apologizing when he's supposed to be a heel.
2. Syko would stay in character, fight Raja, and would get fired if he lost on camera because it damages the reputation of wrestlers as tough guys.
3. Syko would stay in character but the people around him would keep to him and Raja separated so Syko can maintain his heel persona and not risk losing a fight to a stranger.

But that's all in the past. That's not how the industry works anymore. Even then, I really don't understand what they were thinking in letting Raja hurt someone on their roster, regardless of whether or not they expected him to go overboard. The matter should've been squashed the moment he apologized and Raja (seemingly) accepted it. There's no reason you need to offer him anything else beyond that.

I would argue what the fuck is he doing at a wrestling show for some bumfuck low-tier indie fed.

Moron can't say he has zero understanding or knowledge of pro wrestling, IMO.
The dumbest nigger could figure this out.
The DUMBEST NIGGER could figure this out.

Counterpoint: given what happened, no, they couldn't, lol

White people aren't reproducing and we're obsessed without importing these people from abroad so this is going to get worse and worse until one day we're living in the equivalent of Brazil and South Africa where horrible violence is the everyday norm. The future is incredibly bleak.
You got a mouse in your pocket?
That makes Raja look even worse. The dude apologized, Raja accepted and then he does that shit. What a fucking psychopath. He should be committed
Is there a name for the phenomenon where observing a black person through a camera instantly makes them behave like a nigger? Some sort of quantum waveform collapse or something?

:lunacy:

Nothing has ever made me appreciate the existence of MMA more than having to watch boxing. I would rather be strapped to the Clockwork Orange chair and forced to watch all twenty five minutes of Weili v Namajunas II again. If I wanted to watch closeted homosexuals vacillate between punching and hugging each other every three seconds I'd just go to the Gathering of the Juggalos.

Apparently not.

Numerous people have pointed out that MMA fighters (along with other untrained celebrities) have participated in spots like this before. Not all of them get coaching or any training (a good example of that being Lawrence Taylor and Bam Bam Bigelow. Taylor had no experience with the initial shoving match he had with Bam Bam, although he did get trained for his actual 'match' at Wrestlemania.)
I think Rikishi fucked himself over on this. Raja might be facing some attempted murder charges and we might persona non grata rikishi over this.
It is honestly going to depend on whether or not Raja got permission and there was an agreed upon spot.

There is a legal term called 'implied consent' which will probably get thrown in here if this goes to any sort of civil action. Essentially, it covers injuries and the such that are within the normal confines and accepted behavior of a sport. EG, a receiver getting trucked by a player in the NFL and breaking his neck doesn't have any standing if the hit was within the accepted confines of the game. Or a hockey player who drops the gloves and gets into a fight can't charge the other player for assault because they both willingly dropped the gloves and fighting is seen as an accepted part of the game.

There'll be some stupid splitting of hairs in court (because that's what lawyers do) where they'll argue something along the lines of 'he was told to go in and slam him and rough him up and make it look good', 'he was untrained!!!', etc. Where Raja's lawyers will likely argue that potatoing someone is something that happens in pro wrestling, etc, etc.

The pro wrestler who gave the go ahead, any bookers (managers, essentially) and the promotion's owner are all gonna be liable if this guy who got fucked up is suffering from serious injuries. Raja will probably get a light tap on the wrist because ignorance.

It's stupid and retarded and I hope I'm wrong.

I hope Syko Stu is good and gets a payday out of this when all is said and done. I watched the video a couple of times, and this wasn't a spot gone wrong, this was a premeditated beating. The Jackson kid knows the dude is out cold and is still lighting him up to the point where several guys are having to restrain him (respect to the red head dude that headbutted him).

You can't get away with just slaughtering someone in organized MMA, so the people defending this as "fighter instinct" and saying "he's an MMA fighter, not a wrestler", have no ground to stand on. I'd love to see Jackson get prison time out of this, but I'm not going to kid myself. He's a member of America's protected class and at most will get a slap on the wrist and a gaggle of white cucks and black supremacists saying he was justified in what he did because of slavery or something.

Can he still claim ignorance after the recording of him storming out of the venue going TIRED OF MOTHERFUCKERS PLAYING WITH ME MUH RESPEKT more or less proving this was premeditated or at the very least intentional?

I’ve seen that, and it still doesn’t remove the responsibility of the promoters here. They had a responsibility to make sure Raja knew he was in on the joke. Instead they let him stew then rage on a man who thought it was part of the show. The promoters have a duty to a level of protection for their performers and denying that is insane. I don’t care how many MMA fighters could do it because they get it, this guy obviously didn’t and rather than being talked down they let him get angrier until he tried to murder a man.

To be clear, I’m not saying Raja is not at fault here. He is. But the guy who says “fuck him up!” and hands over the crowbar is an accessory. That’s how I see the promoters.

My explain was more to how am I retarded for thinking the people responsible bear responsibility?
