Alarvez half-assed broke down the lawsuit more. The cameraman was supposed to hand Moxley the screwdriver. Why in the fuck would they have someone who's not employed with company be involved in anyway?

This reminds me of Darby going through the glass during Stings retirement match. Atleast one fan got glass in their eye and after that TK put their gay code of conduct
That basically says you can't sue us when outlaw mudshow act injures you. Also Tom Lawlor is a retard, he said "this'll help out his gimmick" Honestly Moxley should be blackballed from Wrestling he's such a retarded faggot.
What a faggy code of conduct. That's what indies usua-oh wait.....

Looking back, Mox leaving WWE was a good thing for him and not-so-good in the long run. His fellow Shield members became more popular while he is relegated to currently doing indie shit but I guess he's happy about it as long as the paychecks from TK keep rolling.

The "code of conduct" means absolutely nothing legally. It's meant to scare/deter people from suing should something happen. Fuck that. You get injured as a fan at a wrestling show when you're sitting in the crowd watching the action, that's on the company.

Add in defamation to that lawsuit as well. Tweets already been deleted of course.

I never want to hear he’s doing heel work again. The man is a drooling brain dead retard.

If there's any wrestler who needs to get off social media, it's Ricochet. Even before he was his le wacky heel character he was a total bitch getting into slapfights with random people over nothing. It's just the way he is.
It should be Ricochet, instead of Carmelo, in that meme, which works since he and Logan Paul had a feud previously.

Exactly. It's not like a Gallagher show where you assume you're gonna get some watermelon juice flying at you if you're seated in the first few rows.

This is the same legal team whose also fumbled every stretch of the way. Ryan Nemeth is going to get paid when he wasn't a conracted employee and was paid by appearance and he didn't even get punched or choked a little bit.

If this cameraman doesn't get paid him and legal team are fucking retarded.

ehh, I'll even give a guy landing on you or something like that
but yeah playing with glass when the audience is in the splash zone is dumb, and legit deters me from going to an AEW show since I love telling how I got beer on me from a spot at Impact with Dreamer vs OVE

cameraman is about to get billions,no legal expert but it looks pretty cut and dry right there
I've seen the AEW defenders say it's bullshit since he took so long to file a lawsuit. They're also calling him a pussy since the fall didn't look that bad..

It's amazing how people will defend the Dub no matter what.

WCW walked, so TNA could jog, so AEW could run - they are all spiritually the same. It is the Wrestling Rule of Two - the #2 wrestling promotion will be a heartbreaking waste of time, money, and talent. This has been proven by history. Your entertainment value varies of course, but I think Tony is special because he combines some of the worst qualities of Bischoff, Dixie, and Vince when they were in power (some, not all... however I would be disappointed but not all that surprised if Tony turned out to be a low level creep - not Vince level). I think AEW has matched some (and even surpassed a few) WCW anti-milestones (the handling of talent too numerous to mention, and the many facepalm-worthy moments of bad booking/production like the failed exploding barbed wire death match and Moxley getting stuck like a Texas Chainsaw Massacre victim (where was this in that Jarrett/Hardy match?!).

Cornette called AEW getting sued for something like this, though he assumed it'd be a fan, not a crew member. Survey time: Better or worse? I think it's worse they hurt crew, I imagine word gets around with local union guys in a situation like this. It does help Moxley's gimmick, too bad it isn't the 1970's and it doesn't help his character or his matches. I'm sure some idiots will think getting sued is cool. Badass!

I mean if this guy actually had to get this surgery and was actually as fucked up as the lawsuit is claiming, that sort of shit isn't diagnosed overnight.

And you can get seriously fucked up if you're not able to brace for a fall and your attention is focused on something else, like filming a Death Jitsu retard.

There's a reason why WWE gets local wrestlers to fill in for things like security or arena staff or whatever and not incorporating part of the production crew. Fuck, even WCW, in their infinite wisdom, at least had them sign off on it (Ralphus and that other guy who was the Jericho Security Ninja.)

I'd argue better because it's an easier PR fight for them than if a fan had to get major surgery. We're kinda past the scaremongering bullshit that was the 90s/early 00s with video games, wrestling, music, etc. but I'd imagine the media would have a field day with that kind of story (and WWE would end up getting blamed for it.)

Yeah, plus maybe there was monetary compensation that was discussed and then AEW stopped answering the phone which has happened before.

That's what people dont understand, dude wasn't expecting to be pushed down. Plus he was holding a camera and probably had other gear on him so that could make the fall even more painful.

Way, way worse. If it was a true and honest AEW fan TK could probably get them to settle and sign an NDA by giving them tickets or a meet and greet with Jericho or something else only an AEW fan would want.

By it being just a contracted random camera man he's going to try and get as much as he can.

This could lead to future issues with the network too. A lawsuit like this isn't a good thing. TK is a moron for not paying this guy a chunk of change to go away.

I'm wondering what happened with the woman at WrestleMania who was by the barricade when Austin crashed into it. Nick Khan was there within a minute or so talking to her. I'd imagine she got her tickets comped, free merch, autographs, etc..
If I were in that woman's position I would have gladly just taken getting my tickets comped assuming I wasn't seriously injured, front-row seats to WrestleMania are obviously the most expensive wrestling tickets in the industry so she likely got back multiple thousands of dollars and it was obviously an accident in that instance and at worst I would have been scared for a few seconds, plus id have a funny story about almost getting run over by Stone Cold Steve Austin to tell my family but that could just be my WWE-Bias.

This, the guy was operating a heavy camera then Moxley just pushes him down to look like a badass, and they didn't bother to clear it, I don't know if he was working directly for AEW or they just contracted another company to do that, but regardless id be extremely pissed and have done the same thing he would have. AEW is clearly not careful with avoiding this kind of shit.

I hope Oldberg can give a decent show. Gunther’s traditional style of wrestling should work.

If anybody can get a decent match out of a retiring Goldberg, I'd trust Gunther more than anybody else right now. I think the match will be fine. If it's short and nothing big moves, like Brock vs Goldberg at WM33 was, it doesn't need to go more than 5 minutes. Maybe Goldberg wants a long match for his retirement, but that wouldn't be wise.

The lawsuit article from SI said he was

I guess one odd thing was he went back to work with them after the incident. Article said he hasn't worked with them since December of last year and was also demoted to carpenter?

Something is very gay with this

I like to imagine Trips shows video of AEW to the NXT kids, a visual aid in explaining what not to do in the ring. AEW is the Monkey's Paw of the Observer Generation.
