59% skeptic, I assume because of issues where trans shit conflicts with the rights of those who are not trans or otherwise requires their active participation in their bullshit. Otherwise I'd be pretty liberal on this shit as much shit as I talk about troons.

I'm apparently more sympathetic than I thought:

Still don't think we should be giving kids hormones and surgery, or that trans people get to force other people to call them fae/faer/faerself.

Incidentally, I hate how it's always toilets they ask about. There are plenty of people who can argue better than I that sex segregated bathrooms are important, but I personally think they're far less important than shit like sports and prison accommodations.

I am also immediately suspicious of questions that revolve around "hate speech" when I know damned well that some people think that misgendering qualifies.
 
Honestly my problem lies in the fact that we just refuse to do more studies before hopping up kids on hormones blockers. We dont even know much of the downsides yet but everyone is still jumping on that train likes its free candy day.

Hormone blockers make your genitals never develop enough to be turned inside out to make functional opposite genitals. So any passing troons you see either still have a (tiny) dick or have a front hole way to small to stick a normal adult's dick in. It's a catch-22.

I don't believe in the concept of "hate speech" at all, at least as a legal category of unprotected speech. Neither does the Supreme Court, thank God.

Am I the only one that got 100% skeptic? Honestly, I probably would have been much more sympathetic before I found out about Yaniv, Oger, McKinnon, and other troons like this. They can make a TERF out of anyone. I'd feel bad about it, but if they lobby for zero gatekeeping, I'm not going to put in a ton of effort to figure out which troons I should have sympathy for and which ones I should despise. Hating all of them is just easier.

my results were similar but switched.
i'm sympathetic to an extent.
i like to believe that there's hope for everyone.
it's hard to accept reality after recently peaking.
it's even harder when realizing that a lot of the people who are speaking the truth on this issue would not see eye to eye with me on pretty much anything else.
it's just become impossible to ignore the lunacy.
funny how i actually peaked because of the pro trans subreddits.
 
I'm sympathetic too. I've also realised now that the amount of people claiming they are NB is just our current generation's way of saying "I don't like and don't identify with the way society sees my gender." And instead of living in defiance of that and seeking to change society's norms, and fix the problem, they've opted out.

I see it as a symptom of people just wanting to be treated as people regardless of our gender presentation and identity.

Mild PL, I honestly thought I was NB for a long time before I figured this out. I'm not. I was just fatigued from a fundamentalist childhood that taught me to look down on women, and trying to distance myself from the shit our society puts on both genders. "Women are less competent, men are disposable." At the time I was not mentally and emotionally resilient enough to cope with the reality of a lot of things. Guess what, I went to therapy.

That personal experience taught me that if you feel alienated from societal constructs of gender, you actually have a chance to change how people see the gender they perceive you as, and just to live your life however. Be part of the gateway that widens what is okay for women and men to do and be. I personally like the idea of a world where everyone is gender non-conforming, because we don't have demands of people based on gender anymore. Idk how realistic that is, but I like it all the same.
 
Troons did it to themselves. I USED to be more sympathetic towards them; but the way they act now and the batshit things that come out of their mouth have caused my views on them to shift.

Meanwhile, most of them genuinely aren't zoophiles or zoosadists, but where are zoophiles and zoosadists going to be drawn? A community of people who like animals, some of whom like sexualising anthropomorphicized versions of those animals.

By the time some of the "popufurs" were known to also be into zoophilia, zoosadism, cub porn, etc, they were too entrenched in the community. Instead of initiating a purge, burn, and salt the earth mentality, and repeating it every time it was necessary in order to root out these unethical, illegal, psychopathic abusive and honestly horrifying behaviours and people, the furry community makes some attempts but then eventually just gives up tries to cover it up, excuse it or ignore it. Because there is safety in numbers and a community reputation to think of.

They prefer a larger community with a louder voice, rather than a smaller one that might have a smaller voice but is also free of sick abusive manipulative fucks.

Tell me that doesn't sound like the trans community and their autogynephilia problem. The only difference is that autogynephilia isn't illegal while animal abuse is, so its easier to camouflage getting turned on by your feminised body as just a normal part of being trans. And they can use moralising arguments and shaming much more effectively.

I cannot respect that lack of integrity and the group-think and control.

As I am someone who just wants everyone to be happy and treat each other with respect and acknowledge each others' human rights... the realisation that what I call progressive social justice would now be called right-wing oppression by SJWs is just mind-boggling to me.

Never thought I would be a person who used a word like troon but it's increasingly hard to not use because now I understand with the stereotype comes from, and if a person says theyre trans but also displays some particular characteristics, I can't help but think... yeah, that's a troon.
