This hurts my brain. Why would that even be a thing? Why, in their minds, would someone wanting to lead a political charge against a vicious foreign occupation actively choose to cripple their chances by pretending to be a woman in a medieval society? Jeanne D'Arc is remarkable because she overcame such a handicap and accomplished great things despite it- Inspiring men to follow a woman in a time when that was not allowed to frequently happen. But if that same character were to have *faked* their position the entire time, the whole context and value of the legend is diminished.

No, they are claiming since she wore men's clothing, she was a FtM troon.

in the past, whenever a woman did something historically significant, she was either able to do so because she either
- came from a rich family
- was able to do so with support from her husband, OR
-cross dressed, so she could have more opportunities by disguising herself as a male.

of course, the concept of crossdressing for non fetishistic purposes is lost on troons, so there is only one option left, obviously. TRANSMAN!

the name escapes me, but there was a doctor who disguised herself as male so she could go to medical school. when she passed away they discovered she was female, and of course they call her a transman as well. (women can't be intelligent doctors, thats a male thing, adoy.)
I don't understand this stigma that if you crossdress or enjoy something meant for the opposite gender, it means you're automatically trans. Like how a bunch of troomers on twitter were screeching about tomboys and femboys and labeling them as transphobic because they aren't forcing themselves to be trans. Or worse, they convince children that they're trans because little Tommy likes pink instead of blue. It just feels like they're reinforcing gender stereotypes when the original goal was to eliminate them.

I think one of the most annoying things I see on Twitter is claiming that before colonization of non-white countries, people were more accepting of “other genders”. They’ll use India and pre-colonial Americas to prove their point. Thing is, is that these cultures still had strict gender roles despite that. On top of it, being outside the norm would give you some benefits, but lots of drawbacks. Like, you might be regarded as a spirit leader, but trying to move beyond that would be near impossible. Other times, it meant that you’d be used for sex and never be able to marry. They treat this as some sort of evidence of how pre-colonial nations were more “progressive” than white countries, but fail to see aspects of these practices that weren’t actually good for a society.

They don't care they're just using it as a way to shit on Whitey. It's tiring how many people act like the world has gotten less liberal in terms of social issues while simultaneously walking around in women's clothing with five o'clock shadow.

Term it right and they'd probably be accepting of the idea that eating flesh and organs of albinos will give you spiritual power.

Most "third genders," as in India, were effeminate men who may have been into receptive gay sex, because society had no concept of homosexuality otherwise. In other words, by modern standards, they were actually homophobic (as a lot of troons wind up being reductively.) Most nonwestern societies don't have a concept of sexual orientation like we've developed only really in the past 150 years or so. Doesn't make them transgender when they make their own ways to explain same sex attraction/activity

They do the same thing in Iran. In Iran, if you’re gay, you might be forced to transition to female or risk death. That reminds me, Riley Dennis made a stupid video a few years back that claimed Iran was for trans rights because of that practice:

It's still like that to some degree. Non-woke Indians still call hijras "the gays" and indeed, most hijras are gay.

Need I say more? I don't even know how you can be both gay (as into men) and trans (as in mtf), troons are dumb.

Also I love how they misconstrue historical women who struggled to be taken seriously and succeeding through masquerading as men by claiming they were trans. A misogynistic society wouldn't entertain the idea a woman could be a man's equal, so they wore a goddamn disguise to prove that they were.

Feminism is dead and the "women" killed it. The fucking irony.

Well, the guy who shot John Wilkes Booth chopped his dick off. So I guess that's one achievement the transgender community achieved historically.

Malcolm Michaels Jr. (drag queen name: Marsha P. Johnson) described himself as a homosexual drag queen and didn't get to the riot until after it had already started. The argument goes that he didn't call himself trans because the term didn't exist at the time, but he died in 1992.
This makes me irrationally angry.
1. Malcom was retarded, watch his documentary, and don't pretend he was the smartest knife in the drawer.
2. He was a gay, black man in the 80s, who was also homeless. He was genuinely the epitome of oppressed and now some white faggot trannies are trying to coopt his experience as a gay, black man who was murdered. I don't like LGBT peoples too much, but Malcom was a kind human being who was taken advantage of too many times in his life.

One they might be able to claim as one of their own is Elagabalus, roman emperor. We don't know much about him. It seems he was unpopular with the populace because he disrespected the dominant religion, married a vestal virgin and tried to force everyone to worship his god Elegabal. He was murdered four years into his reign.

While his blasphemy was shocking, he was also known for his extravagant lifestyle and perpetual horniness. People say he might have been transgender because he liked to crossdress and once said he would richly reward any doctor who could give him a vagina.

[80.16.7] He carried his lewdness to such a point that he asked the physicians to contrive a woman's vagina in his body by means of an incision, promising them large sums for doing so.
[80.13.1-3] He married many women, and had intercourse with even more without any legal sanction; yet it was not that he had any need of them himself, but simply that he wanted to imitate their actions when he should lie with his lovers and wanted to get accomplices in his wantonness by associating with them indiscriminately. He used his body both for doing and allowing many strange things, which no one could endure to tell or hear of; but his most conspicuous acts, which it would be impossible to conceal, were the following**. He would go to the taverns by night, wearing a wig, and there ply the trade of a female huckster. He frequented the notorious brothels, drove out the prostitutes, and played the prostitute himself. Finally, he set aside a room in the palace and there committed his indecencies, always standing nude at the door of the room, as the harlots do, and shaking the curtain which hung from gold rings, while in a soft and melting voice he solicited the passers-by
On one occasion he gathered all the city’s prostitutes in the Forum and appeared before them “in a woman’s costume and with protruding bosom.” He then proceeded to harangue the assembled crowd as if giving orders to ranks of soldiers. He instructed them in sexual practices and spurred them on, promising generous prizes if they complied with his bizarre demands.
Elagabalus opened up the imperial baths to the public so that he could enjoy watching the users bathe naked. He had his servants scour the streets and ports in search of men who seemed particularly virile.

All in all, he's not very different from modern day MTFs who transition for a fetish. He just wanted to coom.

But if we're going to use a modern term like transgender to describe him, we should also use our modern definition of rape to describe how he selected his sexual partners. I doubt Aquilia Severa the vestal virgin was happy about her marriage since traditionally, vestal virgins who lost their virginity would be buried alive. 😟

Trannies live rent-free in ya'll's heads.
This is a forum to gawk at lolcows, what do you expect? The whole transgender movement is like a train full of cows crashing into a train full of clowns, creating a surreal explosion of lolmilk that splashes all over popular culture. It's quite fascinating to watch. 😃

Imagine identifying with a hedonistic psycho who was murdered for being completely incompetent.

I see tomboys being groomed & erased.
Mulan was not a FTM.
That's something that pisses me off. When I was a kid in the 90s and early 00s Tomboys and characters like Mulan were celebrated for challenging and braking down gender stereotypes now Troon nutcases are insisting anyone who isn't a stereotype is trans.

Why does anybody deserve any glory for starting a riot when everybody else was achieving shit like the moon landing?
