DISCUSSION
Across the 3 clinics (total N ¼ 2,699), there were both sim-
ilarities and differences in the sex ratio data and associated
factors. Overall, a greater percentage of birth-assigned boys were
referred compared to birth-assigned girls. Additionally, referred
birth-assigned boys presented at a younger age at assessment than
birth-assigned girls. Moreover, as in Amsterdam and Toronto,
the London data also found evidence for a change in the sex ratio
when comparing the years 2000e2006 vs 2007e2017, with a
significant reduction in the percentage of referred birth-assigned
boys (also shown in the logistic regression analysis).
Differences across the 3 clinics were that the percentage of
birth-assigned boys was lower in Amsterdam and the London
than in the Toronto clinic and that the mean age at the time of
assessment was significantly higher in Amsterdam and the
London than in the Toronto clinic.1 Regarding the latter, the
percentage of very young children (<6 years of age, 11.1%) was
significantly greater than the percentage of similarly aged chil-
dren in the Amsterdam sample (6.0%), but considerably lower
than the percentage of similarly aged referred children in the
Toronto sample (35.8%).
The sex difference in the age at referral probably reflects,
among other things, greater parental worry about marked
gender-variant behavior in sons than in daughters (eg, concerns
about peer ostracism). Given that the mean age of referral was
the lowest in the Toronto clinic, perhaps this indicates that, on
average, parents of the children from the Toronto clinic had
more worries about their children’s gender-variant behavior than
parents from the Amsterdam and London clinics.
The change in the sex ratio by the late childhood years and in the
2007e2017 cohort to one that approached parity or even favored
birth-assigned girls appears to extend downward the female-biased
sex ratio that is now evident among adolescents with gender
dysphoria.2,3 At present, the reasons for this shift in the sex ratio
among adolescents are not clear, but may include less stigma for
birth-assigned girls who are behaviorally masculine compared to
birth-assigned boys who are behaviorally feminine,4 which makes
it easier to “come out” as transgender and to seek out mental health
care and biomedical treatment. Another possibility pertains to the
sex difference in pubertal onset, which occurs earlier in birth-
assigned girls than in birth-assigned boys.5 It could, therefore, be
argued that the incongruence between birth-assigned gender and
felt gender identity intensifies at an earlier age among birth-
assigned girls. This might explain, for example, why more birth-
assigned girls than birth-assigned boys are now being referred for
clinical care in the last few years of childhood.
Have you considered actually reading what you quoted.Okay well, then I feel like that's our research done isn't it? Most children being referred for dysphoria are birth-assigned boys, with the ratio approaching parity over the past decades. Malone, who is a member of anti-trans organization SEGM and obviously biased, has just written a blog post free of peer review and fluffed it with links you left blue - because that's what they're there for. Dumbass. Look into WPATH standards, which are actually based in peer review science. Fucking MORONS! Why the fuck are you looking for trans healthcare information from the a man who has never done any research or work in pediatrics? This dude treats endocrine disorders in adults under St Luke's in Idaho.

Late, but what the hell, I'll bite. I've been the farms for a while and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't curious about the questions I'd get for outing myself as a filthy tranny on the New Zealand Agricultural Center. If the possible sperging derails the thread / is too much, kindly send death threats to my inbox; all I ask is that you at least make it original.I'm perfectly happy to update my opinions on troons and autogyne/androphilia. I'll just need to meet one who doesn't trip every instinctive, visceral CRAZY. CRAZY. CRAZY alarm. Or barring that, one that doesn't behave like a horny skinwalker. Step right up, mythical stable tranny.
You're a stupid coombrained troon with no other reason to come here than argue and bitch about opinions and scientific research you don't like. Troons like you are the reason for the knee-jerk reaction of visceral disgust and annoyance against other trannies.Stiiiiillllll no data uwu ~*~

That's really my only gripe. This freaky idea they have that they can just call themselves women. Worse, though, I'd let the first part slide, but the idea they can force everyone else to pretend they're women.A reality where they are the main character and everyone is happy and nice and call them women.

Honestly, I don't disagree with you. The trend of "transitioning can be fetish but it's still valid" and a claim for screaming victimhood across the board for any misdeeds of the person was the worst thing that could have happened to the transgender movement; it made the majority of us look like perverted freaks and whining manchildren that couldn't deal with reality without blubbering about muh marginalization. Here are my no-studies, anecdotally-based findings. I'm sure there exists a mental disorder that causes someone to believe they're the opposite sex. Sucks to be you, fate I wouldn't wish on most people. We don't really have a way to fix it. Now, I suspect there's a list of about 2-5ish different specific (or clusters of, as the case may be) disorders that leads to trannytown, and I think it's a shame that our medical establishment treats all of them like they're the same thing.
- There's the True And Honest Tranny disorder, which I maintain is very, very, very, very, VERY rare. You have mental problems with your sex. You may have other mental issues, related or otherwise, but that's the primary thing that's wrong with you. Doctors haven't figured out a good way to deal with you, so they're basically experimenting on you and calling it "established medical practice".
- Then there's the corpus of various paths to troonery. It manifests as a contagious social disease that crops up from some combination of grooming, autism, feeling like you failed to live up to your societal role, porn addiction, suggestability because you're in the middle of a puberty hormone bath, whatever. Trooning for this person is the end of a long narcissistic journey seeking the next orgasm. In my experience, these variants are much, much more common. And because it's not socially acceptable to be an open perverted freakshow, these troons (and the establishments they've infested) claim they're the helpless victims of a mental disorder, when they're merely the 2021 version of the alley flasher in a trench coat.
If you're the first kind, I don't envy you. Your life was fucked before Big Troon came along, and now everyone hates you because gross pornsick freaks latched onto your niche mental disorder to explain away their predatory disgusting fetish. The smug, unwashed, hideous Twitter troon is just so unbelievably common that it's barely worth digging through the piles of exploded crotchmeat to find the ten bewildered mentally ill humans wondering where all of these perverted monsters came from.
With all due respect what you, and other "based trannies", ask of us is impossible. You ask us to deny plain reality, to play pretend for the rest of our lives. I'm sorry that you wound up that way but I must disagree that there are trannies that "get along like other adults". This is not something we should be normalizing.Honestly, I don't disagree with you. The other big issue is exposure; the first type of troon is much, much louder and more noticeable than trans people who transition and get on with their lives as functional adults- they're people who happen to be trans and don't treat it like their entire personality because it's not that big of an aspect in their lives, which is not the case with troons. First impressions are important, and unfortunately troons fucking ruin it by cumming in their pants and screeching you're wrong for invalidating their exhibition kink.
Troons and other trans people demanding that the people they interact with change their viewpoints solely to fit their own beliefs is selfish and does deny the reality of the situation, and I also agree shouldn't be normalized- not just with trans people, but with anyone. It's a genuinely childish reaction to a conflicting viewpoint when the obviously better and more respected option is to simply walk away and not interact in the future- you're not forcing your beliefs down their throat and vice versa. With all due respect what you, and other "based trannies", ask of us is impossible. Forty-seven transgender and gender-nonconforming individuals have been fatally shot or have died by violent means in 2021, according to the group. The HRC has been recording violence against the transgender community since 2013.
In 2020, the group recorded 44 deaths of transgender or gender-nonconforming people.
Reporting the suicide of a tranny known to me: Guy changed his name to "Ripley" (very probably after the Aliens character). Cis sister also killed herself this year. He did not pass AT ALL.
CEL-E-BRATE GOOD TIMES
COME ON
Obviously, those are rookie numbers, so nothing too interesting there.
What's (((notable))) about the article is that they blame "anti-transgender" legislation like state-level bans on gender transition for kids, when the obvious culprit for this "epidemic" of transgender killings is
More transgender people + more killings due to less policing = more killings of transgender people. One left-wing policy eating another left-wing policy.
- Transgenderism being more popular than ever among the useless
- Killings being more common due to defund the police
The thing that gets me is that, for the most part, the trans women who are subject to this violence are in that situation predominantly because they are housing insecure/below the poverty line/in the sex trade. If you look at the list the HRC compiled, it's mostly black and latino trans women on the very fringes of society already, and almost all of the people are listed as having been homeless or recently been homeless in the past. A lot of the violence is not necessarily directly anti-trans, but come from the precarious position these people live in already. The descriptions of the crimes rarely show any proof of direct anti-trans animus, which means that for many it was probably just being homeless and passing for a woman that got them targeted. IIRC it's something like 36 homeless people die every day in US. Homeless men and especially women, without the trans identity, also die in horrific violence all the time. They're beaten, they're raped, they're even set on fire. So it's not a trans issue, per se, but a homelessness issue with an added trans dimension.I hate seeing this statistic quoted because how many of them were killed due to "transphobia"?
Like in this example:

Granted that was some brave shit but apart from that nobody shot at her just for being a troon. A glance at the rest of the incidents doesn't seem to suggest that anyone of them were killed because someone was "transphobic". If you run the numbers, normies die from violence at a much higher rate than them.
It's just the usual hyperbole for political points and virtue signalling at the cost of enabling mental illnesses.
| Say this... | Instead of... | Because... |
| Our genders Genders | Gender | Pluralising genders enables greater agreement with our worldview and helps activate more expansive attitudes towards our genders and transgender people. |
| Respect each other for who we are, transgender or not Support all young people to be their authentic selves and pursue their dreams Each one of us should have the freedom to be ourselves, no matter the colour of our skin, how we worship or our genders | Protect vulnerable transgender kids | Promoting the creation of a positive good (the freedom of self expression) is more effective than appeals to ameliorate harm (protecting transgender young people from violence and discrimination). It generates support and trust from our base for transgender young people to know what is best for their own health and wellbeing. |
| Some people in power try to put us in boxes based on what we look like, where we're from, or our genders Certain politicians push laws that restrict our freedoms based on the colour of our skin, what's in our wallets or because we're transgender | Transgender kids face crushing bullying and discrimination, which threatens their physical and mental health | The container/box metaphor is extremely effective across racial and ethnic groups for explaining what the villains are doing and how it harms all of us. It resonates with persuadables, builds empathy and galvanises our base to oppose those in power who seek to limit us based on who we are and control what transgender people can or cannot do. Focusing on the unique harms that transgender people face, on the other hand, further distances our audiences from the discussion, othering transgender people and at best eliciting pity. It also decreases our base and even progressive activist's trust in transgender young people to know what is best for their own health and well-being. |
| Whether we are Black, white or brown, Native or newcomer, transgender or not People of all races, backgrounds and genders No matter what we look like, where we come from, or how we express our genders | All of us / Everyone / We all | For a Race Class Gender Narrative to be effective, it's important to build connection by naming what we share across our differences. Explicitly naming specific races and genders can be more helpful than broader references to "races and genders" but both approaches perform well. |
| Certain politicians exploit divisions among us to try to get back into power. Some people in power fuel divisions based on race and exploit our lack of familiarity with transgender people so they can deny our communities the resources, jobs and healthcare we all need. A handful of politicians stoke fear, trying to get us to turn against some group instead of joining together to demand what all of our families need. | Our opposition is racist/transphobic. Politicians divide us. | Framing the strategic racism of our opponents as fueling or exploiting existing divisions between us generates stronger agreement than directly blaming them for their divisions. This is an especially important distinction when talking about how our opposition stokes fear of transgender people. Our target audiences know that transphobia is widespread - and often themselves feel unsure about transgender people - so they do not buy statements attributing fear and division to certain politicians. By acknowledging our audience's own questions, concerns and lack of familiarity with what it means to be transgender, though, we can can remind them of their better values and intentions, and help them recognise how certain politicians take advantage of and manipulate their unease. It is helpful to echo and link how they "exploit" division across races and lack of familiarity with transgender people. |
| Certain politicians... Some people in power... A powerful few... | Politicians The wealthy/powerful | To credibly name a villain, it's critical to make clear that you're implicating specific individuals (e.g. certain or some politicians) as opposed to vilifying whole categories of people. |
| [Certain politicians]... trying to get back into power/get and hold onto power. ...who want to block us from joining together to demand what we all deserve. ...who want to pick and choose who counts. | Transphobes/racists | In addition to naming our villains, we must expose the motivations behind their actions. "Getting back into power", "getting and holding onto power", exclusion and control broadly and blocking us from demanding the resources we all need all currently resonate with base and persuadable audiences in explaining why the opposition introduces these attacks on transgender people. |
