privileged elite? Has that person ever met a goddamn transsexual? It's really not a privilege, from what i can tell. It's bitch ass hard. And they have no choice, they really don't. No one sane wants to be a lifelong medical patient.

Every oldschool transsexual I've met has been mild mannered, meaningfully employed, dressed in age appropriate attire, and happy. I can see why this must seem like privilege if you're a miserable, hair-trigger hysteric e-beggar in an anime costume.

Alice Cochrane raises an interesting and obvious point - troons like Rhys don't want to fit in with women, they want to have full control over defining what is female. They want female cultural genocide and not in a hyperbolic, imaginary way, but in a real, very tangible way.

I know it's what we already know, but seeing it laid out like that really makes it very clear.

"Inclusion for ALL" - if everyone is included, then there is no outer measure, thus no difference.
So men are included as women with no restrictions, so what is woman anymore? Who arbitrates this?

If there is no acceptable level of "trans", then trans people no longer exist. You can't be a bit pregnant and you can't be a bit trans. You're either meeting that level where transition takes place or you're not.
They demand there be no acceptable trans at the same time as demanding there be acceptable females. Trans must not capitulate to a standard, but females must meet all the stipulations they set out.

So you have a free for all on gender. That's ok. That's something Rhys has said he wants. So then what?
There's no more men and women, so nothing to socially identify with.

But then we must remember this isn't REALLY what these people want. They want to only have control of who and what is included and excluded - them and you. It's amazing how their definitions of words are so manipulated. It really makes Rhys' sporting agenda very clear.

How is that every forum on the Internet besides 4chan and KWF has rules protecting trannies? Why are forum admins and moderators so protective of them?

One theory I've read is that nobody else is willing to take up the job of moderating forums because nobody else is that much of a loser, which sounds pretty plausible to me.

Another is that trannies are used as a scapegoat for unpopular policies the people actually in charge want to implement, such as changing the CC license on Stack Overflow posts, or unseating a figure like Linus Torvalds that corporate donors find problematic.

Overall I think these theories are okay-ish, but I was hoping people here would have better, more complete theories they'd like to share.

when you beat something into someone enough time eventually they will do it even when no one calls for them to do it.
you have governments, feminists, all major websites, schools etc all forcing you to accept trannies and after a while even if you still think they are just insane castrated men you will by instinct defend them simply because everyone is always pressuring you into doing it.

Right, but why do these governments, schools etc. do it? I don't want to be that guy but when so many people in so many institutions go insane in precisely the same way it kind of gives credibility to conspiracy theorists.

1. Transexuality is politically correct and marketed as the right way of thinking to the masses. From there, the programmed ones shut down those who go against the programming.

2. Transexuals, like many minorities, find a way to gain access to the lower to middle rungs of power and use this to enforce proper recognition of their existence. Furries, Trannies, the dreaded female, they all infiltrate communities and protect themselves from criticism by being a mod or by being so and so's friend or lover. We see it with Discord, ReEra and others.

Because obviously tits are hot, and dicks are too, so together they should be fine! NO IM NOT GAY FUCK YOU

In all seriousness, because they are considered a "disenfranchised group", whatever the fuck that means, and so they can never be questioned and if you support them you'll be a good person by default. Probably. As long as you think what all your loser friends think and hivemind, you're part of the in-crowd.

Short answer? The Karpman Drama Triangle on a group scale.

- certain people decide they are Victims (in your example, trannies)
- they start complaining about how Persecutors are hurting them, and looking for Rescuers who will take their side
- well-meaning numbskulls take up the Rescuer role to feel good about themselves, try to protect the Victims by chasing off the Persecutors
- anybody who disagrees with this process is labled as one of the Persecutors and exiled
- group is now populated entirely by Victims and enabling Rescuers

This process will often repeat itself until the group only consists of a handful of insufferable bitches, fighting amongst each other over nothing.

Because received wisdom has it that trans people are the most oppressed. They’re pretty good at maintaining this concept with tales of constantly being attacked, harassed etc., whether genuine or not, and virtue signalling does the rest.

Because all progressives are self-loathing anarchists at heart and trannies, illegal immigrants, and other dregs of humanity are the tip of the spear in their frontal assault on western civilization.

A lot of it is just people letting their personal relationship with transgendered people cloud their judgment in regards to what's fair and equitable. It's a fairly basic (and admirable) human impulse to protect people we care about but it's also prone to abuse and overreach.

On the other hand, I'm sure a subset of these people are just getting their social validation from helping further the cause of a perceived underclass. These are the real shitheads; they don't really care about transgendered people as much as they care about sticking it to their ideological enemies.

At the end of the day it's like most things people become involved in; mostly well-intentioned people who aren't really being objective about their pet cause with a smattering of assholes just trying to grab for some power vs. a roughly equal proportion of the same types of people on the other side of the fence.

I don't think most people actually like nor are willing to defend transexuals. Between the grotesquely invasive surgery, needlessly muddled social etiquette, systematic rape of the english language (pronouns), obnoxious representatives and horrific end result of "successful" transitioning, a vast majority of ordinary people are reflexively repulsed by trannies. Women hate them for their reductive, short-sighted, naive and inherently sexist interpretation of what "being feminine" means. Men hate them because when they go to a bar, get drunk and try to stuff their penis into something, there's a chance it might be some gruesomely-injured guy in drag.

No, transexuals don't receive support because of their own merits; they don't have any. What people will do is keep quiet while the vocal transexuals (and their closet case defenders) prance around in a show of misguided pride. Why? Because if you speak out against that you are now a "nazi", or a white supremacist, or a no-sex-haver, or a white male, or some combination of the above, all of which (((the mass media))) has convinced us are the worst things you can possibly be.

The end result appears to be nothing but support for these gender-mutilated ass faeries, and because humans inherently want to fit in, they just clench their jaw and nod.

Don't believe me? Have exactly one well-respected public figure (i.e.: not some faggot Youtube "debater") speak out against them and see how quickly ordinary people will flock to that person's side of the argument. It is a natural human reflex to be repulsed by disquieting fetishes, mutilated freaks and insufferable identity politics, but the past sixty years of American culture have been (((people in positions of power))) trying their absolute hardest to circumvent human nature and inflate their already-corpulent egos.

I think I read it on this forum somewhere, but it was speculated that because the gay rights movement is basically over and they have all their legal rights (gay marriage now being legal in all 50 states as of 2015), the gay rights advocates needed to move onto a new issue.

IOW all those gender studies and Inuit Lesbian Studies majors will have to get real jobs after having lived in a taxpayer/DNC paypig funded stupor for their entire "adult" lives.

As best I remember it, years ago I made a post here wondering why Jessica Udischas can’t just be cool with being a feminine straight male and not a “trans lesbian”, and I got dogged with disagrees and someone jumped down my throat that gender dysphoria is totally real. There must be a totally different set of kiwis in this thread!

This entire issue – as I see it – it completely bogged down and overly complicated with the misuse of language. Consider for instance the distinction between the terms “sex” and “gender”. It’s been put forth that sex is between your legs and gender is between your ears. However, the word “transexual” is considered taboo now, and “transgender” has become an umbrella term for so many different kinds of people that it’s not all that useful, really. The concepts are mashed together now, such that it’s called “gender confirming surgery” (which would be an oxymoron, right), and not “sex reassignment.”

There are some pretty distinct differences between someone who wants to express themselves as the opposite gender and someone who wants to physically make themselves into the opposite sex, the latter of which I would argue is impossible. On the second point, yes it’s possible to get plastic surgery and genital surgery and hormones, etc. - knock yourself out - , but you haven’t changed your sex. And if that’s true then the person in the first point absolutely hasn’t.

You’d think the ideal of a “transgender movement” would be to normalize the fact that some guys are girly and some girls are butch, but instead it’s like a runaway train barreling down the tracks into the insanity of giving children hormone blockers, and you're not supposed to criticize it in any way.

All in all, it seems like a lot of things in life. The important nuance of a subject is constantly abandoned in favor of the most extreme positions. There is no gray area.

Terfs would say that they identify as "lesbian" so they can guilt women into fucking them, same reason they want to go to women's restrooms, they think it'll make it easier for them to get laid. "YOU'RE TRANSPHOBIC SUCK THE GIRLPENIS BIGOT"
