Yeah tons of new drama coming out of the MuseScore devs. I've seen angry devs but I've never seen ones that try to look up a coder's nationality to get them deported.

(btw the author, Ciro Santilli, is a very active Stack Overflow contributor and you've probably seen his answers if you develop for C or C++ or looked up a git command). Doing a 13 month bump just to say that if you are the guy that decided that Audacity projects should start saving in SQL with bloated project sizes and are reading this, sincerely go fucking neck yourself. Lost a project to the shitty 3.x project format deciding to code dump crash midsave and their own recovery tools can only grab 320kb of what it claims is 2.1gb, who in the ever loving fuck looked at corporate database software and thought "yes we can save audio files with this".

I use Audition because I’m a proprietary soy betafag who likes to be fucked in the ass by license fees and E.T. sticking his glowing finger in my dog’s anus while he phones home but it works well for me, great performance and built-in plugins and doesn’t have a shit save format like Audaspergericity.

I used to like using SoundForge. No idea if it’s still relevant.

I'm still using a cracked version of SoundForge on one PC and Audition on another. Last I tried I was able to reinstall SF but that was a few years ago
 
was using sneedacity up until last night when i couldn't take how fucking buggy and broken it was anymore. i'd try to playback the timeline and it would come out completely distorted and play at 3x speed. only after hitting play multiple times would it actually play the sample at some arbitrary point in the timeline. installed audacity because i don't have time to deal with this shit.
