I got banned from the Trench Grenade discord tonight. He was purging people he thought were “spies.”

Just as well. That goon was @ everyone a dozen times a day with cult leader like screeds and video drops.

If he had more of a following I think he'd be the best analog for a sort of right wing Karl, but the issue is Karl can make a decently informative video every now and again.

I genuinely think he's just a midwit. The guys just always adopts the most baffling talking points that please no one but his small group of sycophants.

He cerakoted his lips to protect them in the harsh, chapstickless, conditions of SHTF. If you were a true SHEEPDAWG like he is you would do the same.

He's aged a lot since I last watched one of his videos. When I first watched them, he looked like a dashing young airman. In this picture, he looks like Hank Hill's dad, Colonel Cotton Hill.

Someone is going to have to explain to me how modern service pistols, elk hunting and discussions on the people buying optics relate to weapons that have escaped common memory.

For a guy who continually proclaims he's never going to run out of forgotten weapons, he sure has been forgetting about those weapons in the last while.

Ian has that secondary channel called InRangeTV, I wonder why he doesn't post things... oh right Karl happened whoops!

Jokes aside Inrange started as the secondary channel to put in all the non-historical/non-forgotten weapons stuff, but with that having gone sideways the formerly Inrange content unsurprisingly has found its way to the main channels. Now I don't mind that, if I see something that doesn't interest me, I just choose not to watch it. I have my own agency over Youtube and won't get clockwork oranged to watch idk the content you mentioned. Does that shit over the channel? I don't think so as long as the stuff has some informative/educational value. Now I could avoid posting all the Kickstarter updates on the main channel, but whatever I can again choose not to watch them.
 
He could be putting some of that stuff on his secondary channel. If he posts six videos in a week and half of them don't fit the format, I'd say the channel doesn't have a format.

I guess I'm autistically MATI for expecting forgotten weapons on Forgotten Weapons.
 
I'm a big proponent of the creator using their channel to post whatever they want to post. That's the point of it being his/her channel in the first place and they don't owe their audience a particular type of video.

With that said I do wish that Ian would post more weapon reviews since those are what I watch him for, but I'm not going to knock him for using his channel to post things he likes to talk about, that freedom and lack of expectation is what made youtube great in the old days.
