I guess I've just always been lucky that all the ARs I've seen home assembled have all worked perfectly without needing to be gauged, and all manufacturer parts always just came together nicely for them. looks like one of the counterfeit Lantac BCG's that were around in 2010 or so, complete with "TiN" gas key screws and bolt issues. what might also be going on is a misunderstanding of the TiN coating thickness being added to the piece so it became out of spec after finish machining and coating - generally TiN is chemical or vapor deposited for firearms parts with close clearances. if the manufacturer is thinking that TiN is more of a plating like hard chrome or something and sent the pieces for TiN treatment at some surface shop, it'll come out oversized if the TiN guy isn't super up to date on the proper specs for the BCG or bolt and doesn't measure them after coating to check on dimensions.

there is a "technical data package" for the M16, and prior to that a very long line of commercial AR-15 rifles and components. with 50+ years of relatively modern mass manufacturing and specifications and tooling, it's quite easy to get things right when you have some effort put into it (some people notwithstanding like Hesse or Vulcan...) however you can always find sloppy manufacturers or rejected parts that made their way into the supply chain. the design of the AR-15 itself also has very little in the way of end-user adjustment - the parts are either in-spec or not.

I work on average 12-14 hours a day.
I live with a constant amount of stress that would break weaker people. Despite my waddling, I consistently defeat more physically fit people at matches that require physicality.

b) Huber repeatedly struck Rittenhouse in the head and neck with a skateboard.
c) Grosskreutz knew Rittenhouse was running towards the police and nonetheless pulled a gun on him, pointed it at him and was then shot.

2) he did not shoot any “peaceful protestors”

The prosecution’s own witnesses backed this up during the trial.

These are facts that were plainly visible in the video evidence available in 2020.

I'm not longer an admin. You're going to have to go through the admins to talk about getting the ban reversed. The ban was a decision made by the admin staff as a whole at that time, I wasn't the only voice in that conversation. Bans on that level are done as part of a process that includes all the admins, not any single person. Reversing that decision will likewise take a decision by the current admin staff.

I have CC'd the current admins on this message. I would expect one or more of them to reach out to you in the coming days with some resolution.

On another note, the larger issue - and the one that the community as a whole took offense at - was the notion that it was responsible in any way, shape or form for someone to strap up and drive across town to inject himself in that situation. That was the main point that the thread back then was swirling about, and that was the point that you didn't seem to grasp. Whether or not the shooting was justified in the moment from a purely legal and tactical standpoint, it was morally indefensible for him to arm himself and inject himself into a bad situation. It was irresponsible when he did it, and it was equally irresponsible when that Antifa protester in Seattle took a pistol and shot that other guy.

My personal problem with Karl is that he's kind of sending the message to the wrong people that they are welcome in "The Gun Community" when they're not and they're creeping in on it, and when this has happened with internet communities in the past only bad things have happened.

I do a half hour on the elliptical 3 days a week. I also do practical body weight exercises relevant to getting in and out of shooting positions; squats, lunges, and burpees. I do these with par times meant to simulate stage durations.
