But really, things are good. House remodel part 2 is almost done, only $5k left and I have a bedroom again. Annoyingly a work trip came up so I can't even move stuff in the house and put the lights back in after the painting yet. But it's gonna be a fun 2 weeks. 16 hours drive*, 4 hour flight, week on-site at a customer, 4 hour flight, week on-site with what little family I have left and then another 16 hour drive*.

* Because I'm fucking old I'm splitting the drives over 2 days each. The first night in a seedy motel in a town in the PNW that time forgot. They DON'T EVEN HAVE EV CHARGERS HERE. Oh, right, it keeps the Teslas from venturing this far. Compared to the last city I stopped in today where I haven't been in years and it's turned to total shit.
