I discovered that two of the raspberry plants I chucked in the ground last season are two season producers, so I'm getting surprise fresh berries in November and loving it.
 
The good news: I am in line for a significant promotion.

The bad news: My employer has form for underpaying (hence about 90% of their staff are incompetents).

The other good news: Even if they try to be cute, I can just use my new title to look for proper pay elsewhere as people in my position are quite well sought-after. Also I've built a bunch of systems for them that they don't understand, so good luck unpicking that if I leave.

One of the most unpopular opinions I have is the Reviewbrah is not a good reviewer.

Let's his food get cold and complains about it being cold almost every time. Doesn't have good descriptions for what he's eating. Often time messes up the food he complains about being messed up. Never tries new places. If his order is messed up he is too insecure to get it fixed (but pretends this is just him being authentic).

Sounds a lot like DSP. At least Reviewbrah doesn't eat into the mic.

Chilling, twisting metal. Taking some old rings and removing the gems to eventually recast them into something new. I can make wax molds for the new rings but I lack the equipment to melt and pour sterling silver.

There are so many projects I want to try, unfortunately I don't have enough cash for equipment/materials right now 😭

Still have "Not Like the Other Girls" stuck in my head ever since it was a MatI outro song months ago and I don't even mind because it's so good. Too bad the artist now goes by "Hotboii Drippy" and makes "gay furry trans communist music"; the incel-to-troon pipeline strikes again. Fortunately I can separate the art from the artist. Life's pretty good otherwise.
 
I'm a little from column A and a little from column B. We had our first fire (in the fireplace) of the season yesterday. That was most pleasant.

Our big doggo (Great Pyrenees) has developed a very nasty sore on her front leg. She's clearly in pain, but she absolutely refuses to take her antibiotic and pain meds. She won't be forced and can't be tricked. It's heartbreaking to listen to her whimper.
