Yesterday I ate three meals of chicken wings because my wife likes them too much and made a billion of them. I may never recover. Haven't shit yet, but I expect to die when I do. I'll miss you dumb jerks and fat bitches.

It's been a nice and a slow day so far. Woke up later than usual, did some light housework and spent most of the day knitting and listening to an audiobook. Now I'm lazing on the sofa and trying to find enough inspiration to go for a walk before it gets too late.

Studying Computer Science in hopes to get a better job,
I just asked for tips from a professional who is sitting near me. I don't know what some of this means, so I hope he explained it enough to pass on to you:

* Internships, commercial internships, are most important. You want practical experience. You want to build out a portfolio like an artist, but with your code.

* Do word problems (I don't know what that means) because most of what you'll be doing professionally is word problems. Take a description of what they want and turn it into code. Think of customers that aren't programmers trying to describe what they want.

* Practice a lot, popular technologies like UI development. Less academic and more commercial. Many websites that teach CS focus too much on academic problems. Coding contest websites especially tend to be too academic and not real-life issues.

* The hot new topic today is AI development tools.

My knee is better, the deep tissue swelling didn't cause any further damage thankfully.

Had a great week, kids are growing fast and luckily everyone in the family is healthy and well, even though all kinds of influenzas running rampant around schools etc.
Kids and wifey visited Her parents yesterday so I had time to hit the kickboxing training and spar a bit with friends.
How is our Dear Sneeder in Charge doing?

Got about 4 more days this week than I wanted to at the day job, but learning some very satisfying stuff lately about software architecture. Excited to get back to my projects when I have the free time.

I have been informed by a reliable source that periodic and regular communication helps build trust and a sense of community.
Don't you remember what happened last time you did this?
