Gender Unicorns looks at first glance like just another dumb NFT grift. But doing it on the back of beleaguered trannies just seems cruel/funny.
Since none of their exec team look like gender freaks themselves, it seems like they’re just wannabe “entrepreneurs” trying to make money on contemporary gender obsession. Expect them to be accused of cultural appropriation.
(I now don’t even think there is a “them.” Looks like just one guy in Cypress running a scam.)
Found out about this when a media editor friend showed me the word salad pitch email GU has been sending out. It contains all the expected buzzwords, including “safe space” and “social justice.” They ask media for an “objective review” in the same email they ask media to “join our cause.”
What about this epic game? Your guess is as good as mine: It’s still 18 days from launch and I just wanted to make fun of it in my own favorite safe space.
Also curious if it is, as I suspect, just one dude in Cypress pretending to have a company.
Tbh this email reads like he’s courting investors. My guess is he thinks he can flip the company quickly and built it for that purpose. OR maybe it’s just a con to sell a scam NFT. Oh and if you’re looking for a job, they’re recruiting for a “gender diversity officer” to join their exec team:
I think the “vacancy” is just a way of getting people to link to the site.
This seemed like the right subforum for this thread but if it’s not I’m sorry, jannies.

We are a team of 9 people of different genders & nationalities working on a project that aims to normalize gender diversity, inclusion, and equality. You can see our team here: https://genderunicorns.com/#teamhttps://genderunicorns.com/#team
Our mission is to support gender diversity and help everyone express through their gender their experiences, concerns, and challenges in a respectful community. The dedicated servers will provide a safe space for everyone to understand and support each other.
The community will have the option to join 20+ different gender alliances and play a gender-diverse card game that emphasizes collaboration and kindness. Our 1st gameplay video will be ready soon and I will be glad to share it with you.
We also created a gender directory to educate others about the diversity of genders. This directory will evolve based on the feedback and experiences shared in our community.
We are strong advocates of a fair, social, equal society. This perspective is often neglected in the community, but we hope that [REDACTED] will join our cause and make a difference in the fight for social justice.
Will it be possible for you to publish an objective review of our project on your site? We can provide you with more information about our project, exclusive interview, the pinkpaper; or any other media and data you may need.
Kind Regards,
Luba Shevchuk
