It's funny he's a leftist but in the first video of the thread acts like Marcus Garvey's politics were in anyway in line with the left. All Garvey cared about was if people were black, the rest were garbage cause black nationalism. He also said, "I regard the Klan, the Anglo-Saxon clubs and White American societies, as far as the Negro is concerned, as better friends of the race than all other groups of hypocritical whites put together. I like honesty and fair play. He claims that his one sole friend as a kid was killed by police because he was black (with tears and all). If he's telling the truth, my heart goes out to him. But I've seen narcissistic commentators like Glenn Beck or female televangelists who have too much make-up do a lot of fake crying for attention and to get their points across so I'm a little cynical.
If it were true all he needs to do to prove it is drop their name so doubters could look it up.

Well Trinidad had slaves, however England was the very first country to fight against slavery and Trinidad became a part of the Commonwealth relatively late in its history. Still though, we know very little about his father except that his parents were indeed married (but who knows how long for).
