Games you reminisce playing... - ..but can't recall the name of, sometimes.

Necroing this thread because there is still one flash game that eludes my memory and I want to know what the fuck it was before I go nuts.
It was a rail shooter kinda deal, with your character advancing through underground tunnels and fighting off monstrous rats, bats and humanoid monsters. There were multiple weapons (such as a shotgun, an assault rifle, I think there was a sniper rifle too) to be unlocked and you could switch them at any time through the level, but they had limited ammo, so if you ran out, you were fucked.
There were in total 12 levels, with every third one being an arena stage where you're in a large circular room full of tunnels and enemies just come pouring out of them. Every 3 levels had a different "theme" to them, with each "theme" changing the look of the monsters and the level itself. You earned currency by killing monsters and could use it to buy weapons and upgrades (more ammo, more health, some kind of magic shield, etc.). Also, your player character was referred to as "the Dreamer".
I hope that's enough to clue someone in.

So posting my epic gamer moment in here in case it helps someone.

So in the early 00's I would play a few eroge VNs that I got off of file sharing sites. Most of them were bad of course and forgettable. There was one that kind of stuck with me about a female protagonist trying to find (and get fucked by ofc) her missing stepbrother. It was kind of amusing and it used an ensemble cast (basically they used the same character designs in different arcs even when the characters were supposed to be different). Couldn't remember the name of it for the life of me. At some point I was looking for something else and found this site, which has few old 90s VN that you can play in browser. Turns out the name was Amy's Fantasies.

As a side note, if you're not really into dumb 90s VNs or afflicted by nostalgia the only ones worth playing are True Love (which has actual gameplay in the form of a fuck-ton of stats) and Season of Sakura (which steals tons of characters from established 90s series like NGE and Magic Knight Rayearth and is a pretty decent story also).

Police Chase, a pretty basic racing game on Windows. My brother and I loved that game.
Battle B-Daman on GBS. You build little robots that fire marbles at each other. I 100% both of those games.
And Disney’s Extreme Skate Adventure, a simplified reskin of Disney characters over Tony Hawk games.

Fuckloads of Pokemon, B-Daman, Worms on the Wii, Animal Crossing, and Fantasy Life were the one so played the most. Now it’s mainly the Dark Souls series, Rimworld, Risk of Rain 2, and Resident Evil 4.

Super Mario Bros, Sonic, Aladdin for the genesis, Mortal Kombat. Next era involved Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Ocarina of Time, and the original Sims.

Tag, manhunt, capture the flag, kickball, baseball, just rolling down a hill

My brother had gotten a PC game for Christmas back in the early 2000s or so. It was a action RPG with roguelike elements. Kind of in the same vein as Diablo, but with 3d graphics. The setting was some kind of Wuxia or Feudal Japan thing. I can't remember what it's called. I remember liking the game and wanted to see if GOG or Steam had it, but I can't remember anything more than what I've said here.
