It is impossible to talk about the 2011 game without mentioning how much it feels like a relic of a different era. Within its first few hours, SR3 has already alluded to colonialism being a good thing, insulted various groups via some of the hairstyle and taunts and their names, and included a few missions featuring mindless NPC women who are only called hos and whores. It sucks. And it might be easy to say “Well, that was nearly a decade ago…” but I don’t think that excuses a lot of the content and jokes. Thankfully, a lot of Saints Row: The Third is focused on larger-than-life gang leaders, friends hanging out and big action setpieces, so you can mostly avoid the gross aspects. But they are there.

I haven't played SR3 past the first hour because the game did not work well at the time with the shitty pc but couldn't you make the most femenine thing with the deepest male voice and bulge? Or a buff character with the squeakiest voice possible?

Yeah then you go out and beat up people with dildo's. I think SR3 even allowed you to play as a zombie complete with zombie voice.

You could also choose to play with a zombie voice (the character does weird zombie sounds throughout the entire game).

Well it's the kind of thing Billy and his boys love because it was a happier time when we were stoked about porn stars getting guest roles in video games and everyone was either beefcake or had cleavage. But Putin sums up nostalgia perfectly, people who dont miss the Soviet Union has no heart, those who want it back has no brain.

And the zombie voice and Nolan North participate in the sing-along of Sublime’s What I Got over the closing credits along with all the other player voices, which was a cool touch.

I can't stand all the gay virtue signaling with not only Pride Month™ but Black Lives Matter.

Both marketers and journalists are promoting this horseshit, the tone deafness of them is astronomical. I can see why they would delay the PS5 reveal because they want everyone to be 100% focused on it, but don't couple it with the bullshit going on in the news.

But between all the marketers from Ubisoft, EA, and every single large company in union with the danger hair publications and social media fucktards, the fucking cringe levels were off the charts.
