Everyone said RE5 was racist because the main character was white and the co-op partner was very obviously north African and fairly light skinned. That Kijuju was literally stated to be pretty much the only civilization for tens of miles in any direction except for oil derricks was completely ignored. The even more direct statements that the swamps and tribal lands were literally like that because the people are super xenophobic and murderous was also conveniently ignored to continue the narrative of "game waycist."

Take into account the scandals* of medical companies doing trials in africa because of a lack of regulation. It was a perfect setting for RE where a company exploits and abuses the laws and population in an impoverished country. The Constant Gardener(good movie) dealt with something similar.

I wish but unfortunately no. You should watch the movie I recommended if you haven't seen it, it's slow but it is good and parts of it could be the prequel to a RE5. Some cracka's will be around but most will be locals.

It's too bad there isn't some eccentric billionaire gamer like Musk to flip the gaming urinalism and gaming industry itself by extension on its head. Only I don't want better, I just want these websites (IGN, PC Gamer, Gamespot, whatever other garbage I'm forgetting) to go offline for good, they've outlived their usefulness. And they would go for peanuts compared to something like twitter. They're no longer there to cover gaming and gaming only, they're just associate degree armchair social justice advocates at this point masquerading as gamers. They couldn't get hired to make someones coffee at ny times so covering the new fucking zelda game is the best they'll get to interject their personal politics.

I've said for years and will die on this hill; despite the funny and useless reviews you will come across, Steam reviews in general are the benchmark for game reviews. It's no wonder EA, Blizzard, Epic, etc. absolutely refuse to allow user reviews, because they wouldn't be able to control a narrative.

Even when the game's reviews are being flooded with absolute autism from SJWs/anti-SJWs you can generally get that they are written by an actual person and what perspective they're coming from so you can weigh them appropriately. You can't astroturf genuine enthusiasm.
